It definitely should only be used indoors, since any little breeze can hinder the controls. It would be better if the battery lasted longer or if it came with back-up batteries because it has a pretty short battery life. But overall a good value for a fun little RC flyer!

This little helicopter is a blast to fly and the controls are very easy to operate, but it has to be charged over an hour just to get less than ten minutes of flying time! (Not fun for a kid who is excited to fly it!) My 8-year old enjoyed flying it, but was disappointed with how fast it would die. I ended up returning this one and getting a different helicopter by Bussgo, which came with two batteries (which charge faster) and lasts about 30 minutes.
