Great value!
This is as good a paring knife as I have tried. Holds sharpness well.

Sharp great little pair knife
Great little pairing knife I lose them all the time. I think they get thrown away with the fruit sometimes so it's a good thing that they're not too expensive.

Great small knife!
Really great knife! Perfect size and very versatile for small cutting jobs and it’s very sharp right out of the box! Very happy! Love the color and the weight is nice for a plastic knife as well.

Fits well in hand. Not heavy.
Fits well in hand. Not heavy. Great for paring apples and peaches. Wish blade was shorter.

Sharpest and BEST priced Knife Brand
Sharpest Paring Knives!!!! I recently bought a Mercer Filet knife for traveling, it’s super sharp and very well made as a restaurant style handle and Well priced. I wanted to get rid of the 3/4pack of the member-club white paring knife’s because they suck and are hard to sharpen. After my Mercer filet knife purchase, I bought six of these paring knives and won’t look back for the price! They are super sharp, the handle is a little skinny for me, but that’s just me, still 5-Stars I use a full Victornox Set at home, but now Mercer is up there with quality and cost! I’ve used the expensive brands, but for the cost and quality these are right there with them.

The best sharp little knife ever!!!
I got this knife for probably what most people aren't looking for. I needed a sharp shorter knife with a good point for de-boning deer here in North Georgia. I went through soooo many orders. Mostly cheaply made or way too thick of a knife... good for steaks but not the intricate cuts around muscles and tendons I needed. I'm sure this will be great for a pairing knife but I ordered 6 more at this price for my deer processing. And it didn't even dull like more expensive knives after a couple of deer. 😃

Excellent paring knife!!
I've always thought a paring knife should be the "chunkier" type which is wide and not slim, but, I somehow ended up having the slim type, a popular one from the company whose name begins with a V and ends with an X, and so I got used to it, but I always thought it was cheap. I now appreciate the narrowness of the blade for cutting strawberries and mushrooms, and I feel the narrow blade can also handle peeling an apple. I'm not sure if I will go for a wider bladed paring knife now because the narrow type has worked well for me. But in any case, the one I had from the V...x company was stainless steel, which is not ideal for knives as it dulls. Plus, the popular one I had was cheap and the blade had machine grooves in it, which attracted discoloration over time, eventhough it's a stainless steel blade. All of my carbon steel or other alloy knives have done really great, and so I wanted the same in a new paring knife, and this one by Mercer is the exact one that's perfect for me. The handle is even bigger than the V...x one, and I also like that the handle is white. I'm now considering getting a larger Mercer chef's knife, since it has the great French (gentle curve) blade which is so excellent for rocking when chopping herbs. I am a minimalist and I know that knives can and should be minimalized, so instead of being reactionary and getting knives just because they seem like they would work, I'm putting the thought into it, so that I don't overbuy. And a great paring knife is an easy way to begin the process of getting good knives!!! I love the Mercer line, and my only complaint is that the handles are meltable if you leave them on something too hot. I don't plan on doing that, but I prefer an indestructible handle. I'm still excited to have found the Mercer line, though, because their quality and prices are what I appreciate and look for. I will buy more for sure!!!

Broke in 10 months
This knife served me well for 10 months. Sharp, good size, easy to use, and the price was right. Well, it only lasted 10 months. My Victorinox paring knives (similar appearance) were a little more pricey but have lasted for several years.
