My teenage daughter has taken on photography as a hobby. I decided to invest for her birthday.After some research I decided on this one.Digital cameras have totally come along way since the last Time I’ve owned one..Very impressed with this particular model.The picture quality is truly exquisite.bright, vivid Crisp images, unbelievably lifelike!It’s Packed with useful features at an amazing price. The viewfinder setting is really neat, the autofocus works quickly with an impressive 16 time zoom and totally shake proof with a bright flash.All of the functions are user friendly. She was able to get it up and running right out of the box. The instructions are clear and easy to follow ..The camera itself is very well designed.. it’s solid and Durable, with good weight to it.. but compact enough to be easily transported for trips and outings. Perfect size for her small hands. She can reach all the buttons comfortably.overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase, it came very nicely packaged, suitable for gifting.I highly recommended it at such an amazing price.

Bought it as a gift for my 11 year old cousin who is currently into recording everything in her life. I’m not sure how long she will stick to this new hobby so I wouldn’t want to give her the expensive one. I bought a camcorder before but the one I had was not anti shake. I decided to give her this one. It came with everything you need: charger, two batteries, memory card, lens cover, manual. The quality of the pictures are good and clear enough for the price (of course it cannot compare with the expensive camera). When she run around to record her puppy, everything was clear, auto focus and not blurry at all. I also like that it has the slow motion mode. She really likes it. I think it’s the great choice for beginners.

So far we really like this camera. Has several nice features on it. Works great for every day photo taking and as a starter camera for a young photographer. It’s quite light and easy to travel with, unlike some cameras. Only tiny complaint is not having a separate charging dock for batteries. But it’s not a huge issue so still deserves 5 stars. There is different settings on it that are very similar to my more expensive camera like sport mode for moving objects, landscape, anti shake, special effects and portrait. There is 2 batteries and the cords you need to charge the batteries and transfer pics to a computer. It does have a video feature that we haven’t used yet so I’m not sure how well that works.All in all it’s a very nice budget friendly camera that works well for a beginner photographer or someone that likes to take the occasional photo. Highly recommend!!

I needed a new digital camera and this looked like a good choice as I am on a fixed income. I bought the camera on the merrits of the reviews it had recieved. Also it is an easy camera to use. I got my new camera and right off I noticed that the protruding lens are just for looks. You have zoom and focus but the protruding lens is fixed. I took it out for a test run twice when I first got it. Both times I captured beautiful photos of the sunset. My third time using the camera the photos were great but many of them were out of focus. This also was the first time trying to shoot a video with my new camera. The video came out with the picture jumping all around the sound all garbled. After using the camera a total of three times the battery had gotten low. I charged the battery. When I put the battery back in the camera I took a couple of photos. When I went to view them the camera screen turned purple with white lines. No matter what I tried the screen stayed that same purple. I tried the second battery and still had a purple screen, You could not go to menu or anything. I was very disappointed that I had spent a hundred bucks on a camera that stopped working after its third time in use. I know how to operate the camera and it has not been damaged in any kind of way. This item only has a thirty day warranty. Its been a couple of months since I tried to use the camera so I was about ready to order a new camera from a more well known company but I figured I would try the camera one more time. Low and behold I took a few photos and they came out fine. I previewed them and they looked great. The second time I tried to preview them the camera froze on about the fourth image. I tried everything to trouble shoot the problem but to no avail. After several attempts cutting the camera off and on I was finally able to pull up the menu at which time the camera froze on the menu. I am very let down. I was hoping to use this camera for a vacation to a special place the first part of January but it looks like I will have to buy a new camera from a more well known company. The old saying you get what you pay for. My review is I lost a hundred bucks on this faulty camera. If you need a camera buy from a well known brand. I got totally ripped off.

A few days into using it, this seems to be a very good camera for a reasonable price. Takes great slow-motion videos, as well as high quality video of fast-moving things (or people). Photos are crisp, good focus, and nice large screen on the back of the camera (see photo associated with this review).Comes with a lens cap, memory card (32 GB) and two batteries, which is very nice. Also features time lapse photo and video - can't review those as I haven't really used them much as of yet.All in all, seems to be a great camera for the price.
