The Fox 40 Sonik Blast whistle arrived in it's original packaging and in mint condition. the whistle itself is amazing. The powerfull whistle can be heard vary far and in my job I need that. I work as an outdoors tour guide and it is necessary to get people's attention at times when the water makes so much noise that I can't be heard. It takes a while to get used to the sound when you first start to use it as it is very loud and my ears weren't used to that level of noise. All in all it ges the job done and is a very handy tool to make yourself known to others or get ther attention regardless of the situation your in. Luckily I haven't had to use it in a rescue operation yet. XD

Wow, this thing is loud. Like, my ears feel like I'm underwater when I blow it, loud. It gets attention, too - even when people are expecting it, they flinch when this thing goes off. Solid tone, like that of a basketball referee - it doesn't "warble" because there's no marble inside. Nice soft rubber coat so you can bite down on it comfortably. The lanyard has two plastic cups that click into each other, but also break away in case it gets pulled, so it's a pretty safe product, too. Nicely done!

I will buy this every year, as long as I am coaching. It is small, lightweight, and LOUD! Perfect for grabbing attention and running drills. Also, I love the blue color.

This has been my whistle of choice since working at a school. It’s sharp, loud and made to last.

This whistle is insanely loud which is important when you need to be on an outdoor field. If you're looking for that, this is the one you want.This would not at all be a good whistle for indoor use in my opinion.
