Sturdy Tension Rods
These are very sturdy Tension rods. I’ve ordered 3 and will probably order another. I ordered 2108 “ and 84” . While I did install them by myself - it would be easier with a helper . they work great as room dividers. I have blackout drapes hanging on them -4 panels and there’s no sagging.

Beautiful alternative to permanent rods
I purchased 4 sets 2- 48"-80" and 2- 80"-120" as I needed a solution for placing curtains within my sliding door frame and window frames . Shower curtain rods were too narrow and the bulbous ends wouldn't allow the grommet curtains. I found this solution and it worked perfectly. I was able to install the rod on a 104" wide span with 3 curtain panels (of heavy weight thermal curtains) by myself! It would be easier with 2 people.Initially I had doubt that any TENSION TYPE ROD LIKE THESE could support a very wide span (104") AND 3 heavy curtain panels. But these are designed for exactly this application and are well worth the $$$$.I plan to remove them in the winter as I am only trying to keep the Florida heat out. So not having to install curtain rods AND to be able to tuck them into my sliding door frames really made a neat, modern solution. The silver steel is smart in appearance and very sturdy. I highly recommend these ...save yourself the grief of trying flimsy lightweight tension rods or unsuitable (for curtains) shower rods.

Excellent product.
This is the forth time I have bought this brand of divider rods, and I haven't had a bad experience yet. They are well made, easy to put together and put up. The rods are heavy duty and can hold a pretty weighty curtain.

It works fine but...
I read several low reviews that stated the rod fell and would rewind itself loosing tension. How can there be so many positive reviews if this was a design problem? However I encountered the same problem but looked at what the cause was. Obviously the rod was turning on the bathroom tile that it was connecting to over the bathtub. I looked closely at the tile and found that it was dusty. The home was just built and I didn’t notice the dust because the tile is white. It was probably from Sheetrock sanding. I completely cleaned the tile and cleaned the end of the rods where the silicon end points are. NO MORE auto retraction as before and it sticks like glue to the tile. I’m giving 4 stars only because cleaning the tile should be included in the directions. I doubt that the same problem would be encounter if you were using the rod on drywall or wood unles it was covered with a heavy coat of high gloss paint...and dust. It looks great.

Love, Love, Love! Using as Shower Curtain Rod...
I searched high and low for a high polished, gold tone shower curtain rod. Nothing else would do as I have high polished, gold tone Grohe bath fixtures in my bathroom. The faucet on my jacuzzi tub is massive and very dramatic so putting up any other color rod would not have worked.I couldn't believe how impossible it was to find what I was looking for. I came across a handful of gold shower curtain rods but they were all around $100. I don't mind spending money to decorate my home but for me, I couldn't see spending that much on a shower curtain rod. This "room divider" popped up in my search so I put it in my cart as I continued looking. I would have purchased it immediately but I read the comment from the seller stating it shouldn't be used as a shower curtain rod because it would eventually rust but how many of us have had actual shower curtain rods rust over time? Me!I purchased this anyway because I always wipe down my shower and fixtures after I shower, including the curtain rod so I don't see this rusting anytime soon.A review below states you can't make it shorter once you pull it out but that's not the case. It easily goes from long to short and back again. Another review states it tricky? There's nothing tricky about it. A 3rd grader could put this up. Takes 2 minutes. The rod is beautiful. It's very, very smooth and very shiny deep gold. Sometimes shiny gold tone can look cheap. This doesn't! My gold rollerball curtain hooks slide across this rod like a dream! The suction cups are excellent. I have an Italian porcelain tile up the walls in my shower that have a very slight "wave" texture. This rod sticks to it like nobody's business. Very tight and secure.I purchased the rod that goes to 50". My shower is 101" high and 45" wide. It's perfect and it looks EXACTLY like a shower curtain rod. Nobody will ever know it's a "room divider."I am extremely pleased with this product! The ease of use, the perfect shiny gold, the incredible smoothness make it well worth $30. I would recommend this product to a friend or family member. (ps: if you like my shower curtain it's Tahari which I also purchased here on Amazon. it's beautiful!) thank you seller & AMAZON!

Good for sturdy outdoor applications
These are not the super-springy kind of tension rods, likely because that is not feasible with their maximum length. I used them to secure screens on my porch, and they are working perfectly.

Not the Silver You Think You’re Getting
The product photo makes this curtain rod look like a bright, mirror-like silver, but in person it’s only faintly shiny and mostly a muted grey. Think of brushed nickel that had half its luster polished away—you can catch a bit of reflection, yet it never really pops against the wall or coordinates with true chrome hardware. If you wanted a statement-making, polished silver rod, this isn’t it. The finish dulls down any room décor you pair with it.Bottom line: skip this rod unless a soft grey-silver is exactly what you’re after. For anyone hoping to match crisp, shiny fixtures, it will just look mismatched and disappointing.
