Not only an excellent tribute band
First, this live performance sounds fresh and emotional too. Second, CCRevisited is not simply an excellent tribute band. Consider that two musicians were original CCR - Clifford and Cook, the famous rhythm section - and the rest of the band is admirable too. The best one, in my opinion, is Elliot Easton, the old Cars axeman. He is not only a thunder, I love his feeling, his style. Steve Gunner is a good assistant, not a minion. And John Tristao is a strong vocalist, not the copy of our hero John Fogerty. I wnat to say: CCR is a legend, this band is not the same but is honest too. I enjoy mysellf listening them. I hope the same to you

This is not the original Credence Clearwater Revival band, but another band doing covers of the original. It was a disappointment, especially since it was a gift for a friend.

A good band
Have had this for years. I am happy they had the desire to play I Heard It Through The Grapevine. Too bad the original group never felt the need to do it live. All I have found is a medley song where they play a few minutes of this song. The rest of the live stuff is normal stuff.

Unremarkable performances
Competently but unremarkably performed by Cook, Clifford and co. One can't help but taste the bitterness from John Fogertys former bandmates, they played on the originals but they contributed nothing to the writing process. This could've been more interesting if they had revived some of their own original songs from Mardi Gras, or at least tried to twist and turn the songs in an original direction, but they do nothing of sorts. When performed without Fogerty the songs feels just like any other half interesting cover version. Cook and Cliffords own DNA in these songs are too weak to make any impact. And the worst thing is that the singer can't even remember the right lyrics.
