The pot is not detachable from the base. Also it is small. If try making idly for 2 you will have to spend at least 40 mins because the idly plate they have given has 5 mini size. And worst part is no return option if you don't like the product. Literally they are forcing this product on your head. It is complete waste of money. 1500 donated to Amazon's charity.

It is very useful to cook food in hostels. You can cook various dishes with it. Frying,steaming,Boiling etc and the best part is it is soo easy to clean. Would highly recommend it for students living in hostels.

The product is good but quality wise ok ok as nonstick coating is romved after using 6/7 times

Insta cuppa is good for cooking food when travelling. Just be careful about the extension cord as I lost mine and also while cooking keep the temperature slow.
