Perfect Recovery Tool
As someone who does a lot on their feet (long distance hiking, backpacking, lifting, running, etc) I’m always researching products to aid in my recovery. I’m so glad I gave this foot massager a try. It’s extremely portable and easy to use. Simply turning it on provides immediate relief, and the heat takes it to another level. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

Know your expectations, but this is a good value!
The media could not be loaded. This isn't a fancy foot massager like the ones that envelope, squeeze and knead your feet, and that are much more expensive and tend to break (like most all of these foot massagers). I decided to go the less expensive route (at least for myself, not my wife), and try this out. It has met expectations thus far. If all you're looking for is something fairly inexpensive that relaxes your tired feet, like after walking, jogging or being on your feet for awhile, this should do the trick.I used to have a basic foot massager like this one until my wife broke it by bearing down on it with her feet too much. I don't think I'll have that problem with this one, as the center balls actually feel like they have strong springs underneath designed to handle the pressure. I can push them down, and they spring back up much like a good mattress. It's only the center section though. The sections for your ball/toes and heel aren't springy, which I guess is OK for the price point! The motor seems strong and relatively quiet. The noise shouldn't disturb you while watching shows or listening to music. The machine has three modes, whereby the balls will turn clockwise, counterclockwise or alternate between the two. This is all done via pushing the power button, which you can do with your feet. You also have a speed button which controls slow, medium and fast functions with a push. And lastly, you can push the heat button for low, high, or no heat. Keep in mind that it's not going to be hot, just perceptibly warm. I say "perceptibly" because it won't blow you away, but it is noticeable when you take your feet off the massager and put them on the cooler floor. The speed and mode (power) buttons have amber, green and red LED lights that will indicate what function you're using. The heat button is low or bright red, and corresponds with the color of the spinning balls. So, everything is easy to operate! This massager will also allow those with bigger fit to actually use it. I wear size 13, and I have no issues working all the areas with aches. I mean, you might have to position and reposition your feet, but there are enough balls there to get the job done.I do wish that the balls for the ball of your feet were raised like the middle section (see the pic) because I believe that the middle section can actually impede you from getting the massage you desire on the balls of your feet if you're simply reclining. I have to either consciously make sure I'm bearing down hard enough and/or just sit in a more upward position to make sure the balls of my feet are getting adequate pressure sometimes. The only other small criticism that I have is the cover. I wish that it was made of a tougher material. If you see my pic, the cover already looks a little worn, especially where the balls spin. So, I don't suggest using this with the cover on. I am a little skeptical as to whether the netting over the platform will stand the test of time, as it may be made of the same material as the cover, but we'll see!One thing that I keep forgetting, but have tried, is placing it behind my back (though I didn't buy it for that). I think it's somewhat gimmicky, but it gives you some relaxation! You might like it.All in all, I knew what I was getting. It's your basic foot massager that's not perfect, but higher quality than I was expecting. As I am skeptical of all these massagers, I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money as I've had them break on me with not only five-times use. But this one seems built to last. I have a two-year warranty on it (after registration), so I hope to get that out of it at least. It auto shuts off after 15 minutes, and I'm going to respect that so as not to wear the motor out or injure my feet! If it can't handle normal use, I will surely update this review and let you know. But, it seems like a good value and a fairly inexpensive way to provide some relief for tired and achy feet. Believe me, you could do a lot worse for a whole lot more. I paid $40, and I think it's a nice value, especially if it lasts a while.

Fixed a problem I didn't know I had. Saved thousands in medical bills.
I have been having foot pain for about a month now. I purchased this as a last resort before going to the hospital. It got to the point where at the end of a workday I could hardly walk. Then I stepped into this bad boy, and it changed everything. It has saved me thousands in x-rays or MRIs.In one weekend, all my foot pain was solved. I pumped the setting up to 3 on air massage and knead with maxed out heat, and something in the bottom center of my foot popped. There was about a day of swelling, and once the swelling went down, I could walk painlessly! There were a couple days of soreness as I had to relearn how to walk correctly in my big toe and a weird spot on the upper back of my calf, however the pain was gone.I don’t have a medical degree, and honestly, I don’t need one. Evidently there was a misalignment between the bones in the center of my foot. This caused me to walk on the side of my right foot. After the pop, I can now place my foot flat on the floor as I walk. I can now walk faster with no pain, as well as now jog. The jogging feels effortless. There is a roll from heel to toe as I step that wasn’t there before.I want to be clear that I am not suggesting that this should replace a visit to the doctor in the event of a legitimate injury. However, I also have enough miles on me to know what a legitimate injury is and what isn’t. Just figured I would add a disclaimer to ensure I don’t face legal backlash.

Heaven
I’m plus size and have plantar fasciitis, so finding relief for my feet has been a struggle—until now. This foot massager has been such a blessing! My feet are super tender, so I haven’t been able to go higher than level 2, but even at that setting, it gives me so much relief. After just one session, I feel like I can actually walk again without pain. If your feet are constantly aching like mine, this is 100% worth it.

This thing is LOUD
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It's fine, nothing special. I've owned a different brand many years ago, this one is no better. But also to mention the title of my review, this thing really is loud. Every button press when you're changing settings and turning it on & off makes an extremely loud beep. I typically use the item later in the evening when the rest of the family is in bed, and I'm always paranoid I will wake them up when I'm using it just by pressing the button to turn it on. So you wouldn't want to use this in the same room as someone sleeping for example. To my knowledge there is no way to silence the beeps.
