This new bar installed is helping me to be able to live independently at home!

Not as easy to install I had to buy better anchors and I'm still not confident...more of a project than it should have been. Now I have holes to patch.

I just received this and I am very pleased with how it looks and feels when I put my hand around it. It is a nice size to hold onto and the texture should be a help in gripping it. We haven’t had time to install it yet but we have a location saved for it. The only thing I noticed different than what was listed is that the grab bar does not have the rings of light around it as shown in their listing photo. It looks as though there is a ring at each end of the textured area. There were no instructions included in this package although one of their photos gives a good idea of what to do to install. Something that told the correct height to install would have been a help but I can Google it. But I don’t know how to get the lights to reflect. My husband wonders if it needs to be exposed to some bright lights in order to be reflective. It has been shut up in its shipping container so maybe that will be the answer but sure would have been nice if the listing had at least mentioned something about what makes it shine.

This is a very nice grab bar that is textured, thick, and easy to grip. The outer finish looks nice and appears easy to clean. Installation is a breeze with a drill. All the hardware is included except for the drill bit and Phillips bit. I installed it on the side of my garage as added safety, since sometimes snow melts, runs off, and refreezes on the walkway there. It is solid and unmovable. You can never have too many grab bars. At well under twenty bucks, this bar is a great value.

It is nicely made BUT, it is not white it is cream colored. Also, I ordered a 24 inch and received a 21 inch grab bar so I returned it.

These are advertised as white: "2 Pack 20 inch White Grab Bars..." In my picture with 3 bars, the center one is white from an older order, the product was longer available. This brand, a very close size/style match was advertised as white, but is a light beige color, and are the top and bottom bars.

NOT White! It's Beige. The site describe the product as White. The product seems to be nice but because of their inaccurate description I'm giving it 3 stars. The reason it's less expensive is probably they have stock pile of Beige handles and trying to dump them by stating it's white.

This is a good looking grab bar and it feels sturdy but there were no instructions whatsoever in the package, not even a simple illustration. I’ve installed grab bars before but not everyone has so I think that’s a significant oversight.It came with screws and anchors but if you’re mounting the bar to a stud, as I did, the anchors are useless and the screws are the wrong type. Luckily I had some that worked and the bar is rock solid. I’m confident it will hold if I need it to steady me.While the outer part is plastic, the mounting plate is metal. That’s good for strength but I have concerns about rust if water gets behind the cover plate so I added a thin bead of clear silicone caulk to the inner and outer edges of the plastic cover plate to seal it against water spray or condensation.With those minor tweaks, I’m happy with this grab bar.
