Surprisingly good
I was skeptical at first about buying off brand batteries. But, the price was low enough that I had to try. After a year of owning them, they're holding up great, still hold a good charge and work well with every DeWalt tool I have.My dad works in construction and I've even recommended these for him to try. These were surprisingly good.

Thoroughly impressed. So far, so good
Unfortunately at work we use dewalt everything. My boss has purchased knock off dewalt batteries off ebay a few times, and they were AWFUL. within a couple weeks they started dropping like flies... Wouldn't charge, drain quickly, etc. These were less expensive; and so far have very much surpassed those. Upon arrival, I was sure to fully charge them and for 2 weeks, we have drained and charged them several times and have had zero issues. They seem to last as long as the big dewalt batteries on a full charge, the battery led indicator has 4 bars (dewalt has 3)I will be ordering more for sure. And will update this post if anything changes. (It is currently Nov 2024)Highly recommend over any other generic. Well, for the cost... I recommend these over dewalt👍

Rare exception to aftermarket batteries
I almost never take the time to write a review but I had to do it here. I find that so many of the aftermarket batteries available online are total junk. This is a rare exception I have found. It is reasonably priced seems to have very good run time and almost 12 months and my batteries are still functioning well.

Great Value vs. DeWalt <--- Update
Update 06/13/24: Two days ago I had to cut and grind down extensive cracks on a customer's driveway. I started with a Waitley 6A and got a fair amount done before it died. Then the second Waitley 6A. It was dead in about 10 minutes or less. Both of these had been fully charged on DeWalt's high-speed charger. Followed up with the DeWalt 5A Powerstack and finished the job with power left over.So my updated conclusion is that maybe this two-pack isn't all they are cracked up to. Or maybe I just got a bad battery, I dunno but they are going back and I'll bite the bullet and buy another DeWalt 5A Powerstack. For comparison since that's what most buyers here are considering- this vs. the DeWalt.I like the lightweight construction of this new DeWalt 5A battery. This Waitley is hefty in weight by comparison. In terms of how well the charge holds up under demand, I'd say it's comparable. In terms of price comparison the Waitley 2-pack 6A ($64.98) vs. the DeWalt 5A ($101.85), doing the math here, you could essentially own/buy three 6A for the price of one 5A. Since they are both manufactured in China, I guess it boils down to this, does the DeWalt logo imply their product is worth paying 300%+ more? Will it outperform its competitor manufacturer (Who knows? Maybe they are made in the same factory?) by a factor of three? I've used them side by side doing the same work and the Waitley performed about the same as the DeWalt albeit, the DeWalt is a 5A battery.Only time will tell if the lifespan of one vs. the other becomes an issue. At this point, 45 days in, the DeWalt's power indicator lights have failed and no longer tell me how much power is available. That's disappointing. We'll see how DeWalt warranty service responds and I'll update this with that information once I've heard back from them. Either way, it's a pain in the butt to now have to deal with warranty replacement.

Examine what arrives closely. Expensive to loose a couple due to quality control (I assume)?
I have searched and experimented to find a solution to the very high priced OEM batteries and thought I had found a solution. I have order from Whitley twice and all but one of the Lithium Ion 20v MAX 6.0AH have performed well.good charge retention, good quality, works well. Except...one of the batteries showed u0 with the 1st and 5th connection point defective. Looks like the plastic case was warped when it was going through final assembly. Would be totally satisfied with this one exception. I hesitated reporting this as everything else has been great. I have a bunch of these and hate that one has soured the experience I total for me. Need to examine each product when they arrive as this cannot even be noticed until you try to use it and the battery will not 'seat' correctly. Can find no method of returning just one.

Who needs expensive Dewalt batteries?
I thought I'd give these a try to have some extra batteries for my drill, impact, and sawzall and most importantly, weed eater. I have 2 5ah original Dewalt batteries and they're fine but I'm weed eating 3 acres of trees and just 2 batteries weren't cutting it. (Pun Intended!) Once they died they would have to go on the charger for several hours before I could finish the yard. A real pain in the back side.Found these and they say they are 6ah batteries and had some decent reviews so I figured I'd give them a shot.Right away the build quality was very good and while I don't think they are any better than the original 5ah batteries as far as run time, they certainly are not any worse. Best part is that the original Dewalt chargers work fine with these with no issues. They mount in tight to the charger and the rest of my Dewalt tools. They charge just as fast and last just as long per charge. Even better, they have battery charge indicators that show how much charge is left in the battery so I can grab another before I head off to the far corner of the property instead of running out of battery on the far side of the yard and have to walk back to grab another with the Dewalts. The 2 pack of these was less cost than a single Dewalt replacement so its a no brainer for me. I will probably get a couple more of this brand if the originals burn out.
