Good mackerel fillets in a rich and flavorful sauce. Great for a quick fish lunch or dinner with rice and vegetables. You can heat it in the microwave for two minutes and they come out perfectly. Good value for money as well. Excellent protein choice when you want something different

I grew up with this stuff in Denmark, so I was totally surprised when I was able to enjoy it here in the states through Amazon. A bit pricy, but worth it when you cannot get it elsewhere.

The best canned mackerel in tomato sauce I've found

This combination of tomato and mackerel is revered in the Scandinavian countries. The ones I like tend to combine an almost dried mackerel with a tart tomato paste. Rich and flavorful. This one is more mild. Chunks of moist mackerel and a soupy tomato sauce. Nothing is off in this product. It is a bit bland for my taste.
