Read the negative reviews. If you need exactly 3/16 (.1875) rod, this isn't it. This is 5mm (.197) diameter.Caveat emptor.

Great for coffee!
I polished it up, rounded the ends and I use it as a stir stick in my coffee when it's too hot. I keep a cup of ice water on my desk and cool the copper rod with it. 😁

Lol. They seem to create balance when held in the right hand whilst the left hand is holding the zinc rod.

I've never held solid copper before, so I didn't expect it to be so weighted. I also bought a zinc rod. Supposedly holding a pure copper rod in your right hand, and a pure zinc rod in your left hand helps with grounding. This rod is comfortable to hold, and the perfect size for my hand. It also passed the magnet test, so it is pure copper.
