Works great with Apollo rfz 125 , no modifications or Mickey mousing needed
Works great with Apollo rfz 125 , it’s a direct Bolt on or drop in! no modifications needed! I needed this head bc my spark plug hole was stripped beyond repair! This got me back running! Hope this review helps someone, I had a ton of trouble looking for answers to know if it fits my Apollo rfz 125 x18 no one answered and it was frustrating because Apollo them selves have the part on back order! Luckily I took a chance and found out it actually fit my bike I’ll upload pics later

Could destroy your bike, if your not careful
I gave this 2 stars for the price and quick delivery.The cylinder head had a few problems, that could have been major… the valve job and assembly is terrible. When I first received the head I took it apart to upgrade to a z40 cam and do a port and polish.First thing, when i went to remove the valves I noticed on the intake valve 1 of the 2 keepers wasn’t seated. That alone can cause catastrophic failure. Had I just installed this head without catching that, it would have dropped a valve and destroyed the top end.Second thing, it came with a bad valve seal. The tension spring on the seal itself was poking out between the valve springs, before I even touched the valve… would have smoked like a chimney had that not been caught before installing.Third thing, they used some really poorly machined valves, so the grove for the keepers is to low on the valve stem. Because of that the retainer at the top of the valve springs come into contact and destroys the valve seals the moment the motor turns over. Not to mention the extra stress it puts on the springs. Had it came with the correct valves, there would have been no issue. I’ll add photos to show what they should have been. And what it caused to my cylinder head 2 times before I discovered it was the valves.I understand it’s china, the quality isn’t really expected to be great. I just expected them to be somewhat consistent, so a particular part should fit a particular engine. That said I’m able to make everything work by replacing the valves, with the correct yx140 valves.If you’re buying one of these cylinder heads just beware that it’s going to need to be inspected and possibly repaired so that you don’t end up dropping a valve and destroying your motor. Or have a oil burning issue from a leaky valve seal. I just assume the average person buying this would never know, and could potentially blow their fresh rebuild up. This is my warning to them..

Gaskets leak oil, valve covers leak oil and cam chain oil cover cracked after the engine was run for the first time after installation.
