The media could not be loaded. This fish tank is extremely sturdy and the value for the money that it cost is really good. The lid loosely fits and allows for you to feed the fish through a small slit in the front. The filter seems to work great and is easily removed for cleaning. It is just the right size to fit on my countertop. The aesthetics are amazing and I highly recommend this product for anybody who is looking for a simple and modern fish tank for a small space. The remote has a A button where the light Changes to three different Color mode as well as a timer. Great!

This is the best beginner tank I found. Pump and filter are adjustable and strong enough to keep water clear. Very easy to remove, clean, and replace filter. Lighting settings are nice to adjust lower toward the evening and when you click back on in the morning it stays on the setting it ended so fishies are not startled in the morning. Very good for the money spent.

This is a revised review.I thought the light was defective. (And wrote a not too favorable review,) I now believe the problems I was having were due to using an incompatible USB source. My guess is that this light draws so little current while on standby that my "smart" charger shut down the power to the connection at the end of every day. Therefore the light needed to be disconnected and reconnected in order to reset the charger. I put the light on another charger and the daily program now runs fine.The light is, perhaps, adequate., It does not appear to be a high-CRI plant light. Though, easy to grow plants should do fine in it. Algae will not likely be an issue. Integrated into the cover, it reduces evaporation of the tank water.The tank itself is very nice. The clear and thick glass adds sturdiness and makes this look like much pricier rimless tanks. The dimensions are perfect for putting on shelf or bookcase.I saw other reviews that said the built-in filter was audible and had too much flow. I opted to use a nano sponge filter which is quiet and has gentle flow for a betta.

This made the perfect addition to my kids room, the filter water flow is quiet, it's easy to move to clean, the ability to change the light color and brightness is great and the light timer is so helpful! The cover does bump off very easily, my cat was knocking it off to get to the fish but I just put some clear packaging tape on the 2 sides and it is no longer a problem, especially since there is still a opening in the front to feed the fish. My fish has not shown signs of needing a heater added. My son loves the dark night light on at night and makes for a great nightlight but isn't too bright for the fish so it's perfect for us!

First of all, its not glass, it is acrylic. Second, the lights in the hood are burning out and they do not offer a new hood to replace it.

It has 3 different light settings, although the first 2 look very similar.The filter is completely quiet.I’ve now had the tank for about 10 days and the water stays clean, changing about 1/3 of the water a week is enough.Bubbles (the fish) seems happier.I’ve noticed the tank water stays 3 degrees warmer than the house, which in my case is fine as we keep the house at 78 f.

This was a great little tank, aesthetically pleasing, especially for the price. However, I learned from the fish enthusiasts down at the pet store that it is likely too small for a beta and we ended up buying a bigger tank. I was told the filter was not adequate and it does not come with a heater. The lights worked well but the cover was difficult to sit flush as you will find that there are many wires that need to fit through the small gap in the back. All in all, it is much cheaper than other tanks and it was difficult to tell if my beta fish was happier once we got him a new tank.

The quality of tank is great. I loved everything about it even noticed filter was a bit to strong swinging my betta fish around until it was caught and mutilated. Bought another fish lowered filter settings to the lowest flow was great until 2nd betta was caught once again and was also mutilated. I would advise getting another filter.
