Great replacement pump
Very nice pump. Installation is simple, but it would be nice if there was a better assortment of connectors provided. Like many have commented, some installations will require an additional connector. The slide lock connectors that attach directly to the pump are nice. Just insert the fitting and push in the lock. The pump is quieter than my old one but you have to be careful not to over tighten it. If you do, you'll crush the rubber mount and the pump will be solid to the mounting surface and it will be very noisy. I had to loosen the mounting screws. With the switch system on this pump you can draw a small quantity of water without the pump starting. The pump holds pressure well. With my old pump it would run for a couple of seconds every hour since it would lose pressure. With this pump I can turn it off and wait a couple of days and when I turn it on, it doesn't have to run to build pressure because it's held pressure without bleeding down.

Don’t count on any warranty support
I’ve purchased 2 of these in the last two years. The first one failed right after the Amazon return window closed. After calling the support line and a few troubleshooting steps it was determined the “motherboard” was faulty. I was then informed they were out of stock and I was assured I’d be out on a list to receive a replacement as soon as they were available. After 6 months and several follow-up attempts I saw they were listed again on Amazon. I contacted seaflo again and was informed I needed to contact another supplier then crickets. Finally after many attempts to Contact someone went. Ahead and purchased another one directly from Seaflo and was assured there was a 4 year warranty. It didn’t work as well as the previous one before it almost burnt my RV to the ground. Now less than 2 years later it has completely stoped working. I’ve filled out several forms for warranty and found they have put so many road blocks in the process, and no way to actually talk to a human I’ve given up out of frustration. The pump was fantastic but don’t last. Good in theory but crappy in execution. I would certainly NOT recommend buying anything from them for any reason.

This is much quieter than our previous water pump.

Great for Off Grid Applications.
I bought this for an Off Grid tiny home for my elderly mother. I ended up using it on my house (Off Grid Too) My wife is a dog groomer, and when bathing a dog, the water flow was low enough that it would destroy the pressure switch on other pumps designed for RV’s in a very short time. This pump has NO surging. It is connected to a 1,600 gallon water tank feeding my whole house. I live at 6,500 feet where it freezes in the winter. The motor does get hot. So caution when wrapping it with insulation. Can’t fault the company tho, I am a few feet above the Sea…..

Good pump
Pump is great but went through all three fittings to find on that didn't leak. All good now. Flow good, quieter than old pump. Thank you

Supplies water to my house.
I use this in conjunction with a higher powered pump. It works terrific. I can only get about 3 gallons per minute out of it. But that’s enough to run two showers at the same time. I have it in line with a large pump that uses a lot of electric electricity which comes on if I turn on a garden hose or something. The only thing I don’t understand is why they don’t include one more half inch threaded fitting. I think you should have the choice to use slip on tubing or threaded fitting. You have to buy extra threaded fitting which you can purchase, but you have to get four of them.

Not Plug and Play AT ALL, Extra Money and SKILL Needed To Make This Usable
I spoke at length with the engineer at Sea Flo before making this purchase, and at face value it seemed like the perfect pump for my need in using it with a 12 volt battery to give me running water when there is none. When I got the pump, it came with a very short wire, maybe 5 inches long, so that one would have to hire an electrician to lengthen the wire with 16 gauge wire so that it could even reach my 12 volt battery, the connection would have to be "heat shrunk", and in the instruction booklet it states that one must install a fuse (not included) "in line". Adding several feet of 16 gauge wire and putting a fuse in line all with heat shrinking is nothing I could do, and so I had to hire an electrician to do this for me. This drove the price of this pump way out of range for me. It doesn't state anywhere in the item "write-up" that the electric wire from the pump is so short, nor needing the addition of an inline fuse, and nothing about heat shrinking any of these alterations. SeaFlo really goofed on this one as I won't recommend this pump to anyone, due to the extra cost to me, to anyone. It would have been very easy for the company to make the electrical connection much longer with an inline fuse, charge more, and then it would have been plug and play as one assumes without the needed directions/diagrams that is not there on how to assemble, not even a diagram of where the extra parts go, no directions on how to assemble or what each part that is in a plastic bag is used for and how to asssemble it for use with the pump. In addition there is no diagram showing where parts should be placed, and there is a list of additional parts that are needed and not included with the pump package. Very poorly done, Seaflo, and you have misjudged your customers in the day of "'preparedness", and the number of women and men who have little to no knowledge of pumps, assembly or external parts and where they are placed. You need to use a different person to write your manuals for the "lay" person who needs this kind of pump and one who has no prior knowledge of pumps, their parts, how they work, and how to assemble and use them. Pump may be great once it works, but I never would have purchased it if I had known about all the additional costs and expertise needed to just assemble it for use.

Perfect!
Got tire of replacing pressure switches in other washdown pumps. This solve that! Do waste money on others this is the one.
