Saucony Men's Ride 15 Running Shoe

Good Support, Lightweight, Just enough forward rolling action
This is my first pair from Saucony, and I am impressed. Definitely will be a repeat customer to this brand.I got these to replace some old Nike Pegasus shoes, which I enjoyed, but wanted to try something else. The fit on these is very similar to Nike, although I would say that they are more comfortable and barely wider in the toe box area, but otherwise very similar.Somehow these seem to provide better ankle support and felt like they put my calves into a more natural position, which I enjoyed while running. These shoes are extremely lightweight, and breathe really well. They have just the right amount of forward rolling capability, which is to say hardly any, but enough that they feel nice while making longer strides.

Replacement for Iso Ride 2
I've been looking for a replacement for my iso rides and these are very similar. Initially the fit was weird and the heel had an exaggerated cup that was noticeable. After my first run, they broke in and feel perfect. Tons of cushion however I can see the imprint of my big toe on the top of the shoe mesh. I suspect these will last 6-12 months or so before my toe pokes through like other saucony shoes I've had like this.

Very Comfortable "Ride"
I've been wearing Saucony's exclusively for about 15 years now, and they always fit well, are comfortable and are made to last.I've purchased the "Cohesion" the last few times, which is more of an "introductory" model for casual runners and walkers. However, I was able to snag a great deal on these Ride 15's which provide a much more "cushioned" feel.As soon as I started my run, I could feel an enormous difference, it's a very "cushy" ride, and I realized what I had been missing since I've kind of gone "budget" for the last few years. These are premium running shoes, so if you can snag them for $50-70 it's really a great deal, as theyoriginally list for $140. They have been discounted because they are up the "Ride 16" now. These aren't necessarily great for competing in shorter road races, (10k and less), for that you might want something like the Cohesion which are lighter and give you more of a road feel. The Ride is more tailored for distance training and for people who need or prefer something a bit "beefier" under their feet.Anyway, these are great running shoes.Highly recommended.

Not sure what to expect with this redesign
I was not sure what to expect from this redesign of the Saucony Ride. I have run in the 10, 12 (iso 2), and 13 and they basic did not change that much, knew what I was getting and what the ride would be like. With the 15, it was a complete redesign. New upper, more cushioning (stack height), and lighter. The stack height is the similar to the Saucony Triumph 18, (their plush max cushion shoe), and the professional reviewers were saying this shoe has a softer midsole than previous versions. This lead me to believe that I would have something like a soft max cushion ride. When I unboxed and put these bad boys and laced them up I was feeling like oh no! They are really firm and the forefoot felt almost harsh. But the longer I had them on the more comfortable they felt. I love the fit of the upper. For me Saucony has always had the fit dialed in just right. My first run in these shoes was solid! Ran slow at first then picked up the pace. These shoes definitely feel better when I'm running in them! Slower pace was fine but picking up the pace was where I really felt the shoe exceled, for a daily trainer. Smooth transition and a bit of a pop on toe off. I think this is the best version yet. While running the firmness was not noticeable. There appears to be short break in period after a couple of runs these shoes feel really good. I also run in the Triumph and Kinvara's but I find myself reaching for this pair of shoes more often than not.Because of the increased stack height you will not get the road feel like in previous versions. If you like the feel of the road this might not be the shoe for you. I don't know if they are softer than prior versions but after a few miles they are feeling really comfortable. I would definitely buy these again.

I wish I chose the wide version
I love the shoes and they are pretty comfy. They feel too tight on the front top side of my foot which kills most of the joy but i still use them everyday as they do feel comfy even though the tightness. Would buy again in the future

3rd pair
A good neutral shoe. Not too heavy but good cushioning. On my 3rd pair. Buy them out of season and in the least popular colours for the best deal. Too expensive otherwise. Hell, these shoes are made for running fast and far, not for making a fashion statement. I have run on these for marathons with no complaints.
