I bought this to make use of some of my favourite, older lenses on my new EOS R7.It arrived very well packed and fits perfectly on the camera body, all the lenses I have tried so far work perfectly well and, as a bonus, the Meike drop in filters also work just fine.Very happy with my purchase!

Works perfectly, the meike ND filter also fits in this, very happy especially given the price compared to the Canon version! Autofocus works flawlessly on an R7.

The filter worked fine but I lost drop in filter and tried to buy replacement.Beware if you need there customer support after buying a product, as you just end in a loop going around in circles 14 emails and photos sent, trying to purchase a replacement, paid the $45 they asked for waited 11 days contacted them again for tracking number to be told they couldn’t identify there own part . Pay pal refunded me.

This came well packaged and is nicely presented, which is always very important in my opinion. I really like the fact that it came in a sealed bag as well as the box. It shows its unused and untampered with.After taking it out of the box, the item does look and feel like quality. I was very impressed with how smoothly it works and how effortlessly the filter pops in and out of the 'drop in' slot.This has performed well and is easy to use. The CPL filter also works as expected and yields results as such. I love that it's constructed from durable materials, yet it remains light enough not to add too much weight to my set up.The mounting process is simple and quick, as is the reverse operation. The price is also excellent, £186.99, and to top it off, there is a £20 off voucher available at the moment, which makes it even better value for money!I've tried a few Newer products, and have been very happy with them thus far. This piece is of equipment is no exception, and therefore, I can recommend! Plus, it's much cheaper than original equipment manufacturers. If you're in the market for a mount adapter, you won't go far wrong with this!(I am not a professional, so this opinion is purely based on my own layperson experience.)

Paired this with my EOS R and it works flawlessly, I was worried that it is not Canon and there may be compatibility issue but there was non. Auto focus works just as well as the canon adapter mount, zoom lens and image quality has no noticeable different than before.The drop in ND filter is a game changer for EOS R, there is no need to have a filter for each of the lens you own anymore which saves lots of money as well as carrying a lot less in my camera bag. Changing the ND filter is easier than changing the traditional filter in front of the lenses. My only complains is that the drop in ND lens AND the clear drop in lens both rattle when sitting in the mount. It does not fall out as it has a catch with release buttons but there is tiny movement with the drop in lens in the housing. Using the camera on a gimbal and moving you can pick up the rattle if the mic is picking up the vibration connected to the camera body.I work around this by wedging a tiny piece of paper at the seams to close the gap, at less than half the price of the branded mount this deserve a 5 starts for anyone doing photography on a budget.

This is my first time using a drop in filter and I think it's a brilliant idea as you no longer need a range of different sized CPL filters to fit various lenses. Also it's quick and easy to swap in and out. The filter does what you'd expect by reducing polarised reflections and it's easy to adjust the angle as required (actually easier than using a lens-mounted filter).As a lens mount adapter it also works perfectly, clicks into place nicely, feels sturdy and passes through all electronic signals so you can use in-lens image stabilisation.Quality is great and I really can't see a need to shell out more for the official version which as far as I can see does the exact same thing.
