Got this tent for my daughter going on her first adult camping trip. It is heavy duty and the ease and speed that it went together for her was impressive. I found the color dull, but she did not care, she likes gray. And this thing is HUGE! More than enough room for a cot and a load of gear. For the price, and ease of construction. this is a must buy.

I can truly say after looking at an unbelievable number of instant tents out on the market, I was led to this one for many reasons. Here I will just name a few... (I can also say there were no reviews to go by when I purchased the tent. So I confidently winged it. Below is what drew me to purchasing this tent.1. The description was detailed and very informative.2. The setup in the video looked easy and quick.3. The main color was not loud and the orange trim was just the right touch. (Color is very accurate to pictures and video.)4. I’m 6’1 and a lean fit guy and it was just the right size tent to keep me comfortable.5. It came with everything I needed to anchor it in the ground for a secure fit. I’m not trying to be the one in the sequel of ‘Gone With the Wind’6. The price was super budget friendly. I didn’t expect to get the quality tent I received. I’m sure the price might increase as people catch to to how wonderful this tent is. But hopefully not... Perhaps the creator of this beautiful tent wants to support his fellow campers by seeing them happy and satisfied with the quality.7. I also like the skylight mesh on top to observe the night or daytime sky.Overall a great buy for 1 or 2 people to camp in it comfortably. It’s truly a beauty and very durable as long as you are mindful about how you trek inside it. What I mean by that is leave your high heals and dirty cleats outside the tent.I didn’t experience any rain yet so I can’t elaborate on it’s protection from the element. However, I will be using it for another adventure this month. If it rains I will be sure to leave a follow up review about the experience. But I will say this... I truly believe it will hold up pretty well. I purchased a tarp with poles to mount over the tent just Incase I did get a downpour. But if it rains this time, I will not be covering it aside from the top tarp that came with the tent. I want to really see if it blocks out the water.I will leave a follow up review later. carry bag is a bit thin and of course you need better stakes than what comes with it. floor is not very thick either so i cut a heavy duty tarp down to size for a ground sheet. i couldn't pull the rope down to set it up but if i put the legs straight and lift it, i can easily "pop" it. very easy to put up after that. i wasn't quite sure of the best way to attach the fly at first, directions aren't clear, but i just figured out what gave me the best 'fit'. right out of the box i could see two corner seams were very loosely sewn but i planned on waterproofing anyway. i used both a spray and seam sealant. worst spot was around the door and i couldn't tell from where so i just paid extra attention to those seams. it is a bit difficult to make sure the two door zippers come together in the corners and don't leave a gap. i detest the pass through flap. big, no closure of any kind and not even enough material overlap to be any sort of weatherproof. i glued it shut, to heck with that. i used a sprinkler for a good while to test it all, and only had to add sealant around the window toggle seams to finish it off. so i put some work into it but i have a perfect sized tent, that's easy to set up, stays completely dry inside, has good ventilation, and good storage. folding up is a bit of a pain but hopefully will get easier with practice. my wish list - have it be 5 or 6" taller at the center, and a velcro strip - or something! - to be able to close the pass through.

It is a great tent and easy setup but I noticed that it has special tape in all the corners. One corner was pulling up. I wrote the manufactory and they said the tape is for waterproof. I then asked if they can send me some more special tape. They have not decided yet. If they can't, I will return it for a new one because I do like the tent. The second issue is where a power cord could go through. If it is not in use, it's a hole and there is no way to close it. I will try to find a way to add Velcro to it. Other than that, it is a great tent and I am happy with it.

I purchased this tent to replace a 4-person pop-up tent because the old one leaked and wasn't very intuitive to set up and take down. I will say I needed help putting this up, but that's because I'm a short person and the tent is large. It was easy to set up for the most part - just spread it out, stake it down, and pull up the dome in the middle. The hardest part was the three poles to stabilize the door and other areas - it wasn't very clear where to put those at first. We did put the rainfly on backwards the first time. But once you do it once it's easy to remember.This thing is really spacious on the inside. It doesn't have a big footprint for what it is, but when you get inside you see just how much room there is. 4 pretty large adults and their gear stayed in this tent and we were all able to roll around without disturbing each other. By the end of the trip, everyone was referring to this thing as the "Harry Potter" or "Doctor Who" tent (because it seemed magic, and looked bigger on the inside than the outside). It was also rainy, windy, and chilly at night and this tent stayed very warm and dry.I will be continuing to use this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, easy to set up tent.
