I had my eye on one of these bins for a while, but thought it too expensive. When I moved house and needed a new bin, I bit the bullet and purchased one. If I had waited slightly longer I could have saved an extra £20, but I couldn't have predicted that it would come down in price.The bin is a good design, though I personally don't use the liner dispenser within the bin as I found it a real nuisance to extract a liner from it and thought I could damage either the dispenser or liners with the force I needed to exert.The bin has a great 45l capacity which means I only have to change the liner once a week unlike my old bin where I probably used three liners in the same timescale. It does mean however, depending on the contents, the full liner can be awkward to extract and very heavy.The inner is quite easy to keep clean, although I do find it annoying when crumbs go into the hinge as it really is difficult to extract them. The outside just needs a wipe. I have noticed however that the pedal is beginning to look scuffed and untidy even though I have a strict 'slippers in the house' policy.My one gripe about the bin is that it is sitting next to the kitchen wall and over a few uses, tends to 'climb' up the wall causing an unsightly mark on the painted finish. This could be remedied, as others have suggested, by weighting it at the base.The liners are of course a custom size and style, so no cutting costs with these and they are expensive. Having said that, they are good quality and haven't split or torn in use and as I say, I use fewer because of the greater capacity.Overall, I'm glad that I purchased this bin and as visitors even comment on it, and it is just a bin after all, I think that it obviously has style on it's side too.

I had a simple human bin prior but it had lasted 5+ years and wasn't practical for our growing family anymore.First off this is plastic and the location of our bin means the lid can hit the wall. With the old metal pedal bin it really bugged me, but this is SILENT! silent open and close!It is super easy to wipe clean and wash out for a bigger clean. The bin doesn't have an insert so you have to wash the entire bin. Not a huge issue as I'd wash both parts anyway. But if you want an inner you can remove, this doesn't have it.The bin is wide at the top and tapers in, which is AMAZING when scraping plates as there are no awkward plate holds. It all just goes in, no mess. Nothing even drips down the side - huge plus!It looks good. And with little mucky fingers in the house this shows up nothing! Another win.I'm not sure if I'll keep replacing the bin bags but the slot to store bags in the bin is genius, makes changing the bin a breeze and you can obviously store any bin bags in there, just if they're on a roll you will have to tear them off and fold them to slot them in.It's sturdy. Even when empty and pressing the foot pedal, the bin doesn't rock or move.Would highly recommend this bin.

Love this bin. It looks great and is a good quality bin. It fits well in the kitchen. It is a 45L pedal bin. I love the fact it has a pocket inside for the liners so it makes changing the bin super easy. When you empty the bin there is a hole on the inside and you literally just pull the bag out and pop it into the bin. The bin bags are good quality too and are draw string bin bags. You would need to buy the specific simple human ‘K’ liner bags however normal black bags do fit in the bin also (depending on what black bin bags you have). It also has a soft close lid so you won’t ever hear a sound. The bin comes with one pack of bin liners. Many of my guests have seen the bin in the kitchen and have ended up buying one too. They are a bit pricey but 100% worth it! Definitely recommend.

This is a really good product. Looks smart despite being made of plastic, the mechanism is robust and reliable. Fancy metal variants exist for those with more expensive tastes!I use it with standard white bin liners bought in a big roll from the famous American Cash and Carry chain that fit absolutely perfectly at a fraction of the cost of the official ones.Best bit is when you go to empty the bin the bag slides out easily and the rubbish settles as the bag widens - no spills, no hassle, no mess.Basically I shouldn't get excited about a bin, but this solves all the things I disliked about it's (cheaper) predecessors that all broke!Buy cheap buy twice, or thrice seems to apply with bins!

Nice looking bin and works fine. There is no inner bin which is ok but the downside is less weight and the bin moves around unlike our last bin which was from the same company and stayed where you placed it. Think we might have to put something inside with a bit of weight to stop it sliding around.

Seems to be very well made. Sturdy pedal should last a long time. Time will tell. Silent soft-close lid keeps odours in, unlike cheaper alternatives.The perfect size and shape. Big enough to not need emptying too often, without being too big. Big opening ensures all rubbish can be put in there very easily without any spillage on the bin or floor.Looks good when used with the Simplehuman no-show bin liners. Goes perfectly with our matt grey kitchen units.

Love the design, solid bin, no complaints here! Would recommend using their bags, it's worth the price and they obviously are made for the bin so fit like a gloveLove the bag dispenser feature located at the back of the bin! And the colour is perfect! I love anything grey and silverLooks good in my kitchen

This is a very nice bin, we got it after our old one (also a simple human one) finally died because a part of the pedal mechanism broke.We have a very specific small space for the bin to fit and this one is exactly right for that space.When we first got it we thought we would not use the official bags when they ran out but after using them we now buy the official bags they fit perfectly and sit in the slot at the back.I appreciate the thought that has gone into the design of it, a tip is to put some weight in the bottom of it to prevent it walking during use.

Make sure to look around on prices before purchasing from this buyer. Amazon sells the exact same trash can for $79 instead of $114. I wish I would of looked more before purchasing. Also, the trash can is smaller than it looks on the pictures.

Sieht aus wie auf dem Bild und sieht live noch viel nobler aus. Sehr schön gemacht und der Deckel schließt lautlos. Sehr empfehlenswert und sein Preis wert. Gute Verarbeitung. Bei dem ganzen Schrott heutzutage endlich mal was richtiges. Einmal mit Profis trifft hier zu. Nice!

Tuve suerte en encontrarlo de "segunda mano" en amazon ya que el precio de normal es insultante. Además venía sin usar, solo con desperfectos en la caja. Es grande, cómodo y de calidad pero con precios de normal desorbitados para lo que es.

Súper practico y con el pedal es muy práctico para tirar la basura!!! Fácil de usar para todos en casa. recomendable 100%!
