So.. I do a bit of speed cubing, when I was doing my first solves it felt just okay. I knew I was going to have to adjust the settings. However, there was a strange lock up happening that was on an extreme level and it wouldn’t turn with my normal finger tricks. I took it apart to find one of the magnets sticking up far enough to catch an edge piece. I ended up taking the tiles of that exact piece off and gluing the magnet. The magnet design is a little barbaric for something that seems like it’s well thought out. The mechanism that adjusts the spring tension and axis height worked very well though. With a few hundred more solves, I think it will be a delight.

It's really a lot of fun in a small package.This lil 3x3 magnetic speed cube is nice mind challenge at any given point in time in the day (perfect for work breaks or when waiting in a lobby for appointments). The magnets are so strong that they keep the pieces in place without any trouble. This logic puzzle is fun for all ages so everyone can enjoy it.It took me a little bit to get the hang of this! But once I did, it was a lot of fun.

The X Man Tornado V3 M Magnetic Speed Cube 3x3 was an excellent gift for an avid cube enthusiast. This is my first X Man cube and I'm very impressed. My main has been a GAN 356 Air which is stickered and not magnetic, but it's 5 years old, it was also the same price as this one. Speed cubes have come such a long way in such a short time so I don't know how it would compare to a new GAN. I think I'm more comfortable and familiar with the GAN at the moment, it turns smoother because it's been lubed, and I haven't lubed or made any adjustments to the Tornado yet, but it is really nice and much quieter. It does have some initial friction but glides nicely once it's in motion. I'll use it with factory settings for a while, I'm just an old hobbyist cuber so nothing is critical to me. The magnets are really awesome however! I like how it gives just that little bit of assistance to line things up for your next move so maybe it'll shave a second off my average time. Corner cutting is about the same or slightly better and the feel is a little less sloppy but that could be in the adjustments. I think pretty much any cube can be adjusted to please the average user though. The packaging is really nice, it comes with a nice clear plastic case, and white pouch, plastic adjustment tool and cloth. I like how it's adjustable instead of having to replace components to get a different tension, so that's convenient. The center pieces are secure. The colors look fine. The yellow is slightly less vibrant but I always have trouble distinguishing that from white in very low-light settings late at night anyway. I definitely prefer stickerless cubes though. I will surely get a lot of enjoyment from this great cube, thanks.

Unless they're done really poorly, it's hard to knock a sticker-less Rubik's cube. This one feels quite good, and it's very easy to manipulate the cube so each side glides in the direction you want it to go. I do think this particular cube is a bit overpriced, so I'd probably suggest shopping around a bit, but this cube is totally fine for most people who just want a sticker-less cube to mess around with. I honestly wouldn't understand the appeal of buying a Rubik's cube with stickers on it nowadays, anyway.
