Lovely tasting coffee at a reasonable price.

As a starter pack, this is a great way to try some of the different blends available. And it is reasonable value too. Personally, while I could easily tell the difference in flavours with about three of the blends included, a couple of them tasted much the same as the rest. No - I didn't bother with giving myself a "blind" taste test - that is just my general impression. I don't think these machines produce quite such a good flavour as a big machine in the coffee shop, or even a cafetiere. But on the other hand they are quick and easy and give plenty of choice for a very drinkable cup.

This is my 'daily driver' when it comes to coffee. After drinking perhaps 500 or more cups of this coffee (Passionale) this year, I can say that it is consistently good, and tasty. Not too strong, but you know you've had a cup!

Having owned and run an Independent coffee shop for 20 years, I like to think I know a thing or two about coffee!If you have to use a capsule (occasionally I do! - but only in the office!) this Lavazza hits a really nice spot between strength and taste. it produces a nutty caramel flavour and even a nice crema!I've tried loads and think this is one of the best out there, and miles better than anything Nespesso can do.
