Best home purchase we made last year – this will give you back 12 hours of your life every year!
So pleased with the filter. I had no idea you could (or should) filter the entire cold water output of your home's kitchen sink until I found this! This high-volume filter makes it possible, and it makes everything so much easier than using PUR or BRITA pitchers – saving a ton of time over its lifespan... We got the Woder product 4 months ago, and I was able to install it in under an hour. Rather than getting the cheaper Woder unit, we opted for this one instead (with the smart head and easily-replaceable filters) so it would be a breeze to replace them every 1-2 years. When compared with the large PUR dispenser we had previously, this will save *days* of my life every year. Here's the comparison. I figured the PUR dispenser took about 2 minutes of our family's time per day (on average) in dealing with all the filling, cleaning, and filter-replacing. Multiply by 365 and then divide by 60. That's over *12 hours* per year! Saving 12 hours of our lives by not fiddling with the PUR! Compare that to the Woder. It took under 1 hour to install the first time, and done. It will take much less than that when the filter needs a quick screw-in replacement in a couple more years. Not to mention, the overall cost of Woder vs. Pur is roughly the same. It's a no-brainer! Oh, and the level & quality of filtration is excellent, and the taste of the water is fantastic (better than Pur, and for longer). It also means that fresh, clean, filtered water is always accessible with no waiting, even for the kids. The only slight downside is it dropped the flow of the cold water tap slightly, but not a huge deal. We turned down the thermostat on our hot water heater in the basement to 130 degrees, which has had the triple benefit of requiring less cold water from all taps, reducing risk of scalding for the kids, as well as dropping our energy bills. So now we don't use or need to use cold water from the kitchen sink as much as we used to, except for drinking and cooking. Bottom line: Highly recommended, enormous timesaver, and really the best home purchase we've made in a long time.

Love it. This filter has solved some problems for me.
I am thrilled with this water filter system. I live in Arizona, and the tap water has a strong chlorine smell/taste. I rent, so I can't use most under the counter systems which require an additional hole in the countertop to install its own faucet. The kitchen sink faucet in my apartment has a pull-out head, so I can't connect it to one of those countertop units with a hose that require its nozzle to be screwed to the end of the faucet. I've been dealing for the last couple of years with a countertop water system, and it was a constant grind filling the reservoir and standing and waiting while a small stream of water came out. This Woder filter has made my life much easier. I turn on the tap and good tasting water comes out. That's it. No schlepping a reservoir and sloshing water along the way. No standing for a while waiting for a glass, or thermos, or pan to fill. It may not sound like much, but when you're dealing all day long with those steps, it's tedious. Getting drinkable water has now become effortless. It was easy to install, as shown in the video (except I couldn't screw and unscrew the unit with my fingers, as the guy in the video does). I'm going to stick with this Woder filtration system for a long time. Best find ever.

Does the job at a fraction of the price
Living in L.A., I was using up a Zero water filter for my pitcher every two weeks. After the two weeks, even with refrigeration, the water started getting an aftertaste. That's about $50 every two months. L.A. water is really hard. It leaves a horrible film on the faucets and the sinks. The only thing that will take out that film is a white vinegar solution. This filter takes a few days to kick in. I installed it in my kitchen sink. Easy to install. Unless you're a dunce, there's no need to hire someone to do it. Red the instructions and the graphics carefully. I turned off the hot water, since I never use it. I've compared it side by side to Smart Water (bottled water), and I'd say it's somewhere in between the nasty L.A. water and the Smart Water. Probably a bit closer to the Smart Water, but I still taste a little bit of saltiness, even when refrigerated. It does look clearer and has a smoother texture. It has a minor impact on the water pressure, which I don't mind. Not what I was hoping, but still an improvement. At the very least, cleaning should be easier, and I'm hoping my Zero Water pitcher filters last longer. I'm going to get one of these for my bathroom sink as well. If this filter really lasts three years, I'd say it's a good investment. UPDATE: After a couple of weeks of use, the taste of the water has improved significantly. Is it as good as some bottled waters such as Dasani, or Smart Water? What about sparkling water such as Pellegrino? (I do have a soda stream to carbonate). Does it beat my Zero water pitcher? Don't know, and will have to do a test to be sure. At this point, though, it's good enough to drink, and I will no longer purchase pitcher filters. Upgrading from 3 to 4 stars.

really good quality. had a water test done after 1 month of use. All clear. Taken away the RO system and now only using this with a pre filter.

After much research, I decided to purchase a Wodor filter for my kitchen, as it seemed to be good value for a good product. I have always been happy at the simplicity of installation, quality of water and the ease of filter replacement. Have just moved and purchased another one for my new house. Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.
