Sony WH-CH520 Compact Easy Carrying Wireless Bluetooth On-Ear Headphones with Microphone (Black)

I was looking for something lightweight and affordable for music on the go. I am coming from using Sound Blaster JAM as my daily go to headphones, they were featherlight and comfortable. Despite being slightly heavier than the former, I found the Sony CH520s to be comfortable and solidly built. The sound quality is great with some good bass and I found it to be a substantial upgrade. The tuning found in the app is good and the battery life is excellent. I got nothing to complain!

For the price point these really exceeded my expectations. I don’t need “noise canceling” so these were perfect. The charge lasted a very long time which also exceeded my expectations. The fit was perfect and the sound quality was excellent.

Bought as a birthday present for myself. Sound is incredible, when it's time to buy a new pair, I will strongly consider purchasing these. 10/10 will buy again

I've been using these headphones for a week now, and these headphones are of excellent quality and serve my purposes! They block out quite a bit of sound, but not enough to block out a fire alarm or someone screaming in your ear. The ears fit snugly, and the band doesn't dig into your skull because of the padding (although it does protrude slightly from your head, so it may look a little odd if you have straight hair). And besides their practicality, they also are a great addition to an outfit. That said, the sound buttons aren't easy to feel around for (specifically the pause button, since it sits in the middle), and headphones momentarily pause before every action (eg. audio continues for 1-2 seconds after pressing pause). I also find it somewhat annoying that the buttons are placed on the wrong side - if you are right handed (or, you put the ear with the buttons on your right side), then when you pull the headphones down around your neck the ears will fold with the inside upwards. These are only minor complaints however, and the headphones do produce nice audio quality.

They're perfect, I use them daily and the battery lasts a long time.

I've been using some expensive (for me) headphones which I liked because they were loud and cool looking. These cost a lot less, but they work a lot better. As far as sound quality, I'm not a connoisseur of sound. I'm thinking the expensive ones were better, but for me, these are totally good enough. And they always are ready to go which is good because they're connected to my only phone. I listen to books all day on them and also take and make calls. They're perfect for my needs. How are they with loud music, big bass sounds, Rock around the Clock? I'll never know.

Echoing the positive features mentioned by others. Love the long battery life (even when I forget to power it off after use). Multi system bluetooth pairing. And a super light headphone that's comfortable after long use. I have other headphones that are premium, but I end up using this one as more of a daily driver because of the practical positive features (battery life, light weight..etc). When listening to the news, podcasts, or just general Youtube, (instead of critical music listening), this pair headphone and its price is well worth it. After 6 months everything is still working well, no breakage. Have bought a 2nd pair as backup. Would recommend.

I got this on December 9, 2023. Its June 22, 2024 now. It stopped working in roughly six months. I am highly disappointed with this because I expected Sony products to last longer. Besides that, the sound quality was really good. Noise cancellation works, but not fully. If the music is loud enough, it definitely cancels noise, but then the music can be heard from outside the headphone. It also has some connection issues, and would randomly disconnect sometimes. Battery life is as good as advertised.

This is by far the best budget Bluetooth headphone I’ve ever used. Over the past two years, I’ve owned and broken one JBL Tune 510BT and two 720BTs. The JBL ear pads started peeling after just 4–5 months, while the Sony WH-CH520 has survived perfectly, without a single scratch. After two years of heavy daily use, the battery is still going strong and the headphones look almost brand new. The build quality is genuinely impressive, reminding me of classic Sony products from the 80s and 90s. Solid, reliable, and well made. Sound quality is good, not audiophile-level, but more than satisfactory for everyday listening. Bluetooth pairing is fast, stable, and hassle free, which makes daily use a pleasure. I’ve even bought these in different colours as birthday gifts for two friends, and they’re just as happy with them as I am. If you don’t need noise cancelling or ultra-premium sound, these are easily the best bluetooth headphones you can buy under £50.
