Kate 2 x 3 m Retro Textured Background Solid Brown Photo Booth Backdrop for Professional Photography Studio Newborn

Good quality and less prone to wrinkles than other materials I have used. It does need to be ironed in advance of use but this was a cool iron and worked perfectly. I choose to roll the material on a tube for transport rather than fold again. I also used to sideways as my talent was sitting and I wanted to get as wide a shot as possible. Used some background bungee clips to hold it in place.

I’ve worked with hundreds of backdrops over the years and, usually the promise that the creases will fall out, is a false one. But not with this backdrop. You don’t need a tumble dryer or a clothes steamer, I just used the steam setting on my normal iron and the creases fell out. Lovely result.

The item is made of nice quality material that folds away nicely, the marks (not creases) that were present from it being folded in its plastic bag do not disappear completely after being ironed with a medium heat iron and steam, as per instructions. The marks are a bit like when a photograph gets folded and creased its then not possible to hide the whitish marks that show through. If this was a £8.00 'cheapee' from China I would not complain but it is a £30+ item.When in use , its possible to drape the material over a large collapsible folding backdrop without the backdrop collapsing under the weight which is very useful. This saves having to put up a frame in a small space. Any visible minor imperfections can of course be removed in Photoshop. I used it for creating a 'old Masters' style backdrop to still life images and it works very well for this. I think it will be obsoletely fine for portraits too. I also bought the grey colour which look fine. Just the slight lack of richness to the colour is a minor disappointment.

Love the quality of this backdrop for our home studio. Well worth the money.

Hmm... How to put it in one piece. I expected something different than what I got. It was supposed to be a brown photographic background as the seller states Abstract Textured Photo Background Retro Brown, unfortunately it is not. Someone forgot to add that there is a shimmering colour on the edges that does not resemble brown. It is rotten army green, Khaki. I will not say that as a colour it does not match brown, but not for someone who expected brown as in the picture in the sale offer. I attach photos taken with the phone, but it does not change the fact because it also saves the situation for the benefit of the seller. Photos taken in lighting similar to daylight with a colour of 5000K. On the edges we have a much more visible green in reality, which turns to black when the light intensity weakens. The material itself is very slippery, I mean nylon. Some kind of slightly artificial, not further defined. Vertical bends resulting from the folding of the material straighten up when slightly stretched, it is worse with horizontal lines. I hope it will be as the manufacturer said, that it does not wrinkle after ironing. At the moment I am thinking about returning it because, as I mentioned, I expected a brown background from the photo and I need such a background. I'll give a chance to change my decision, I'll see how the photo will turn out in the studio where I will use completely different lighting. I definitely need to do this before I start photo shoot. In addition, there is no packaging in which to store this material, compared to cheaper competition, we already get it. Comparing the grade, the quality of the material is no different from the cheaper one that we get from the competition. The seller failed me and this background, because when I received the first one ( I was happy with this purchase ) from this seller that exactly matched the colour, right now this one it does not meet my expectations due to the colour. I know that I can't expect nothing special when buying at this price, but … Sometimes the seller should look at what he's selling and not only be guided by pictures. I will sum it up like this, I got what I paid for, it is not a hand-painted artistic canvas that I also have in my collection, except that I paid 10 times more for similar dimensions. So if dear future users, you need a canvas quickly for a one-off project and you won't be coming back to a similar scenery in the future, yes you can buy it. However, if you anticipate it as a need for long-term projects, then unfortunately, think about high-end canvases. They are heavy, you don't need to fasten any clips, you don't need to iron when you store them in the right way. They are really matte and do not change colours under the influence of changes in light intensity. This is it.

Very nice. I popped it on a tumble dryer for a little while with a damp cloth like the instructions said and all the folds disappeared.The fabric is nice and it looks lovely in the photos. It might have been nice to have a pole tunnel on the length of it too but other than that no complaints.Will buy more from this seller

The media could not be loaded. I’m so happy with my purchase!I used a steamer for the wrinkles, still more to do but I wanted to show you first how really is the backdrop. I just passed it one time on the top, gonna try leave it a few hours for the wrinkles to go as it says in the instructions. The colour and the texture is so beautiful, thank you Kate is my new favourite backdrop, I’ll keep you in mind for future projects!!!

Die Verarbeitung der Nähte ist solide, der Stoff ist schwer und macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Der Druck ist überall deckend und sehr gleichmäßig. Außen sehr dunkel und in der Mitte eher ein kräftiges und helles Rot. Genau wie gewünscht und erwartet.

Heute habe ich den ersten Hintergrund von dieser Firma bekommen. Bin sehr beeindruckt. Die Farben entsprechen dem genau wie in der Beschreibung. Bitte zu beachten. Der Stoff ist nicht Lichtundurchlässig. Ich habe den Raum komplett abgedunkelt, und dann wirkt es perfekt. Und als allererstes, den Stoff bügeln. Das ginge sehr gut.. Im ganzen kann ich mich nicht beschweren. Ich werde wohl noch den ein oder anderen Hintergrund bei dieser Firma bestellen.

Farbe und Material macht einen guten Eindruck. Reflecktionen sind nicht vorhanden.Großes Manko sind aber die Knickfalten im Tuch. Sind durch Bügel rauszubekommen aber das Material ist schlecht zu bügeln.Vielleicht besser gerollt liefern?Gruß stefan
