My toddler loves this toy and it's so adorable too. They can just get the "quills" in, color match them and once they are older they will be able to match them by numbers too. Highly recommend this toy compared to others. It seems a little small at first but really it's the perfect size for my toddler.

My toddler absolutely LOVES this toy. It's great for fine motor development. The only downside is the pegs have tiny holes in the end. My toddler likes to put them in hit mouth despite me trying to prevent it. Therefore spit ends up inside the pegs. Only time will tell how that affects the toy.

My daughters still love this toy (2 years and 4 months).

This is flimsy. The push pins don’t all stay in. Numbers are hard to see and plastic is not that good. Size is nice and easy for kiddos to understand how to use, but just not all that nice.

The little “quills” are a perfect size for little hands to grab a hold of. My daughter likes to pull the quills out and will try to put them back in at times. My daughter is in the stage of carrying things in her hand as she crawls around and likes to carry the quills. My baby at the moment does not have many teeth. I will say that she does chew on the quills but not heavily. The quills are a thinner plastic then the hedgehog itself. I feel that if it was chewed on enough it could pose a problem. But with all babies and toddlers supervision is always good.

Great toy

Our grandson loves this toy. He loves the colors and spends many hours moving the pieces around and placing the quills into the base. It’s great for hand/eye coordination. Highly recommend for small children past the point of putting small pieces in their mouths.
