Dearly, Nearly, Insincerely: What Is an Adverb? (Words Are CATegorical ®)

I originally checked these books out at our local library and my oldest daughter (age 7) loved them! They are a great tool in teaching the parts of speech and the function for each part. We loved them so much that I am slowly buying the whole set so that we can read them over and over. I have a feeling these books will be a wonderful part of homeschooling library for our three children.

I used this to wrap up the adverbs unit in my class via distance learning. It's fantastic and the illustrations are marvelous.

I just love Brian P. Cleary's Parts of Speech Books! My students love reading and listening to these silly books. It has helped increase interest and understanding in parts of speech in my classroom.

Cute book! Easy to read and a great way to help with adverbs. Adults just might learn a thing or two as well if they are reading it to a child!

The book has very little content, but having said that, it is a good book and has the best pictures ever.
