It works fine with Windows 11 and also on USB2. This info should be included in the description as there is only talk of USB3 which is faster than 2 but it is fast enough for me on USB2. My only concern is that getting to grips with a 2.5inch drive, so as to remove it from the caddy, is a little difficult as I have large hands, but I managed. Managed to sort through a collection of SSD and HDD drives all SATA without any problem. Would recommend.

very easy to set up with only two cables and for the price is very very worth it as it has good read and write speeds and rarely doesn't connect but I think that's down to the drive and not the reader itself and also is the perfect size to fit on-top of my PC tower and it looks like its part of the PC but that's likely just a coincidence.

Great product. My external hard disk was dead. I desperated to recover the working files. I took away the 3.5" harddisk from the dead one. This docking station save all my files, also save me from the data recovery company. Definitely recommended.

Middle of the road in this for now, I havent used this yet and had mixed reviews? I hoping when I actually get round to using this it will serve me well, it’s so I can use my laptop with external photo drives I have for editing photos,The device is robust and solidly made, I have sat a and ssd drives, my main computer requires some repairs as the cooling fans have failed, and having issues with the ssd drive on startup, I believe the bios requires an update as have a Lot of hard drive space with around 12 terabytes of drive, so I think it’s not able to identify the c drive on startup? Sometimes it’s fine others not? So I need to use the drives with the laptop instead while it’s sorted out? So I bought this docking station to help me continue to edit and save my photos, my main pc has many internal and external drive slots, the laptop has only the one internal drive ssd, so like I say, if this works as told, it should serve me very well, so once o use it I will review this review and change the 3 stars to a higher score! It sure looks and feels the part, and doesn’t look cheap and nasty as some do?
