I got this for my husband and we use it as a Christmas tree ornament it's super cute and funny. I wouldn't advise altering it in anyway, it is pretty top heavy.

Be careful.
Don't make the same mistake I did when you get this. The strings that come with the swing looked strange because they bring them up between his arms, and they were adhered with silicone to the front of his shoulders. I thought it looked awkward so I pulled them free. (Don't do this!) If you do the same as I did, you will find out the hard way that they did that for balance. It is too top heavy to have the strings running straight like it shows in the picture. If you pull them free and try hanging it like it shows it will flip upside-down. Other than that, it looks great.
