I bought 4 of these orbs for a camping trip a few months ago and they were a big hit! The variety of colors and settings give you so many choices. Our favorite setting is one where it fades in and out of all the colors. The white and lighter colors give off plenty of light near the campfire. You can dim and brighten on every color setting. I charge it overnight and it lasts for the entire next evening. My daughter now uses it as a night light in her room and we put a few in our backyard for mood lighting as well. The only thing I wish it had is a sleep timer, but with the long battery life, it's not a problem. You only need one remote to control all the orbs. They also make great gifts for little ones and teens! Overall great quality and fair price.

It's a beauty! This Loftek 12" GLOBE feels sturdy. And it has a little flat bottom that allows the globe to sit securely on a flat surface. (The flat bottom doesn't disturb the overall aesthetic roundness of the globe. Another cool feature is, whatever color you select, the glow is distributed evenly throughout the globe...there are no darker or lighter areas. I'll probably use the globe's peaceful glow to create a sleep-inducing atmosphere at night. (In a darkened room, the globe's soft glow looks and feels eerily like a full moon...or even like a UFO orb. (If the damn thing ever starts to move, I'm outta there!!) During the day, I might use the globe's orange glow to create a warm or sanguine mood. Anyway, this is really a cool item, and the company seems very customer friendly. Hey, I forgot to mention that you also have the option to select various flashing colors or smoothly shifting ones. I prefer the steady mode. This is great. I needed a subtle rechargeable light to use for nursing my newborn at night as there is no outlet close to my bed that isn't in use already. I bought this hoping for the best. I've been using it a month, and it's perfect! The color options are great so I can choose something really subtle such as red and change it to white when I need more light all without disturbing my spouse. I can also change it from dim to bright. It's super light weight so I can tote it to the dresser for diaper changes. The battery is excellent. I have it on from 10pm-5am and so far the longest I've let it go without a charge is three days. So 21hrs at least, and it still wasn't dead I just didn't want to risk it. All in all great light, totally recommend! Photos are set to white at the most dim and most bright setting

Not terrible. The light is more night light level, but the battery is something to be desired. The range is nice and transitions are pretty, but they're more decoration than useable light. I did buy two and I noticed a distinct difference in quality. When both are the same color, you can tell when one has weaker LEDs or that one has a smoother shell that diffuses light differently.
