Very sharp, takes off the peel without much effort. Tends to swivel a bit too much, though, I always find myself resetting it.

This is a very well made utensil that peels so easily, thin layers without excess waste of fruit/veggies. Really good price value. Handle fits hand well ergonomicly. This thing is unbelievably sharp and cuts in both directions. I actually have to slow down my peeling process as if I overshoot this thing will takeoff part of your thumbnail! I absolutely love this vegetable peeler. It comes with a guard so it will stay sharp in the drawer. I started to keep it with my other kitchen utensils, but ended up putting it in with the knives. It has earned that much respect. I pay a lot of money for a very good knives! It is sturdy, well-made, and easy to clean, but you must be careful cleaning it! Great product!
