Works perfectly with my Macbook and has many different port options which is convenient for all the cameras I have. Loved the price for all the ports that you get with the purchase.

Check the connection
This card reader has a USB C connection. When I tried to connect it to my Galaxy S23 it thought it was a power supply. I had to get a USB A male to USB C female connector and it worked perfectly.

This does not work to read CF cards.
Don't buy this thinking you can read CF cards with it. It does NOT work to read CF cards. False advertising. I returned it.

Excellent adaptor
Worked as advertised. Allowed me to download pictures from old outdated memory cards into my new computer. I recommend this adaptor.

Refuses to read full-sized SD cards
Grabbed this for a quick multi-format answer to the question of a laptop with only USB A and C ports - the dual microSD cards are great but the reader refuses to read full-sized SD cards in the top slot and they won't even fit inside the second slot tried both a native full-sized SD card and an adapter for another microSD - and yes, I verified it was the correct slot. No CF cards or anything like that around; primary concern was the SD format and only half of it works. The LED indicators are a nice touch, flashes when the cards are getting accessed like a traditional HD. But functionality is key for something like this, so cannot recommend.

Bought it to retrieve photos taken on a Sony digital camera. Unfortunately the device didn’t manage to retrieve any of the images on two cards, but as it seems to work with other cards of differing types this might be the fault of individual cards. Reasonable build quality. Compact size.
