Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: A one of a kind book that deserves all the 5* (I never give 5*) - It takes quite a bit for me to want to re-read a book, it doesn't happen often - quite the opposite, yet I keep coming back to this one. For me, a successful book is good story, good characters, good writing, and it has to make me FEEL. If it has all of those elements, which let's face it, is sadly rare, then I'm gone hook, line and sinker. This series - Shannon, Johnny, Gibs, Claire, Joey, Mammy K, all of them, is unlike anything I've ever come across before. It is so good, that even though I know what's going to happen, I Feel everything these books evoke just as much each time I read them. I cry with them, rage with them, rejoice with them, grieve with them, laugh out loud at the humour and the antics they get up to (especially Gibs - hands down funniest book character I have ever had the pleasure of coming across). I'm not sure I've ever had that from one book before. Shanon may come across as a bit doormat-ish at the start, but peel back those onion layers, and you find the heart of a fighter, an incredibly strong girl who doesn't even know it herself. Johnnys the definition of overthinker; a strong, good guy with so much commitment, dedication & passion for the things he fights and cares for. I loved these two. This absolute gem of a book, and series, is so unlike anything I've ever come across before, and I know for a fact that I'll still be coming back time and time again because they are "bleeding brilliant". If you're looking for a beautifully written, heart wrenching, hilarious book with dark secrets, characters so seemingly real that it's almost seems plausible that one could bump into them in Ballylaggin, and want one hell of a book hangover, then do yourself a favour and read these pronto. Review: I have no words ! - Oh My God ! Mrs Walsh you have some explaining to do leaving us on a cliffhanger like that ! I screamed at my kindle ! This book is something else ! I have been through every emotion possible, I have laughed I have sobbed this book is everything ! Shannon - oh sweet sweet Shannon, the world dealt you an unreal bad hand of cards for such a lovely little soul, you just want to cuddle her and protect her at all costs ! Well that’s where Mr Rugby comes in Johnny and Shannon turns his world upside down but she don’t even know ! He becomes so attached and protective of Shannon to the point he doesn’t understand what’s going on with himself (his falling for her) but he won’t admit it and tell Shannon this. The relationship building was incredible, you wanted to shake Johnny and tell him just to kiss the girl most way through the book 🤣 you just know these are going to make the cutest couple ever ! Gibsie ! - oh Gibsie you are hands down one of my favourite book characters ever ! You don’t give two tosses about anything and the things that come out his mouth is priceless. Gibsie is that best friend we all want and need ! Just hurry up and tell Claire how you feel and stop messing about ! I can’t get over this book ! I was hooked from the beginning I would recommend this book to everyone who wants a book you can get totally lost in, you get emotional attached to characters and you will go through every emotion possible from chapter to chapter ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would give it so many more stars ! 5 is certainly not enough for this amazing book ! Now to start number two I need answers and I need to know what’s next !

Great book
I liked how it was set in Ireland and included two different worlds. Great description of characters. Need to read the next book.

Raw, heartbreaking, addictive
Wow. What an emotional rollercoaster the last 48 hours have been. I put off reading Binding 13 for so long, unsure if it could live up to the hype. Now I get it and honestly I’m glad I waited. I didn’t think a high school romance this long would grip me the way it did, but Chloe Walsh completely proved me wrong. Despite the school setting, it never felt immature. The story dives deep into trauma, mental health, love, and survival, with a level of emotional intensity that kept me hooked. Even at nearly 800 pages, I flew through it. There was a stretch around the 500-page mark where the emotional push-pull got a bit repetitive, but by 700, I was right back in it and completely invested. The characters are where this book shines. Gibsie is a standout, hilarious but clearly hiding his own pain. I know there’s more to him than the funny best friend but I just can’t work it out! And Joey. Oh, Joey. His pain was so overlooked. He’s trying so hard to hold it all together, to protect his family, to be everything for everyone and you can see it’s slowly breaking him. My heart ached for him with every chapter. He deserves peace more than anyone. Shannon’s journey was heartbreaking and beautiful. Watching her slowly find her voice and begin to trust again was powerful. Johnny loyal, protective, and emotionally raw felt like the anchor she needed. He wasn’t perfect, and that made him all the more real. Binding 13 is about so much more than young love, it’s about healing, loyalty, friendship and surviving what life throws at you. I cried, laughed, got angry, and fell in love with every page. Now excuse me while I go dive into Keeping 13, because I am not done with this world yet.

If it was possible to rate this book higher than 5 stars, I would, because all the other books that I’ve previously rated 5 stars have now been put to shame. I don’t know how I can even begin to possibly explain how much I loved it. I’m left speechless but yet have so much to say… does that even make sense? Probably not, because I’m wrapped up in so many emotions right now and my thoughts are a jumbled mess… This story is not your typical teenage angst drama with the standard hot and cold, back and forth plot line dealing with the romantic relationship of the main characters. That kind of story line has been played out so many times and to be honest, I’m so over it. It’s hard for me to put into words, but Binding 13 didn’t even feel like a story. It felt like real life that I had a front row seat to witness. Everything was so gradual but hooks you from the very first page. It’s a slow burn, one that heated my bones, singed my heart and seared my soul. The innocence, the emotion and the purity of the storytelling, where it is all about the story, was done to perfection, but also kept light-hearted with all the hilarity, banter and awkward teenage moments that had me in tears from laughing. Chloe Walsh has never disappointed with her amazing storytelling skills, her phenomenal writing, characters and her ability to captivate her readers and pull them into her books. And that’s exactly what she did here, but added so much more depth and raw emotion than she ever has before. She created a whole new cast of characters that were so thoroughly fleshed out that you can’t help but to submerge yourself into their lives, understand their thoughts and their feelings, and watch them grow day by day. Johnny, Shannon, Gibsie… all of these characters caressed my heart and gave it one hell of a smile. They are definitely unforgettable, especially Gibsie. That kid was a barrel of laughs and his banter kept this story fun during moments of conflict. Johhny stole my heart and ruined me for all other book boyfriends. (Sorry to my other book boyfriends because I’ve just broken up with ALL of you.) The way he would fiercely defend and protect Shannon had me completely swooning and melted the ice from my cold heart. He was so sweet, so gentle and kind with her, but he was still all alpha in all the ways that mattered. Shannon’s character may have seemed fragile, and yes, she absolutely was fragile, but that girl had strength… because how can you not be anything but strong when you keep taking beatings day after day like she has dealing with bullies and an abusive parent? Ever so slowly, Johnny brings her out of her shell and her character ended up growing the most in this book. Now, here’s the part where I’m going to warn you, but not to scare you away… this book is HUGE. The length of this book is over 225K words. I’ll admit, the page count did frighten me at first, but once I started reading I was glued. Work, kids, husband, housework were ignored because I couldn’t peel my eyes away from the pages for a second, and now I’m regretting not savoring it a bit longer. I actually wanted it to be longer, but never fear! It wouldn’t be a true Chloe Walsh book without a cliffhanger, which means I get more of Johnny and Shannon in the next book in the series, Keeping 13. I get to see their love blossom and grow because these two are the forever kind of love, the love you live and breathe for. The epic kind of love. “I think I need you for keeps.” “I think I need you for keeps, too.”

I just spent the last 10h reading it in one sitting and now I’m wrecked. Sure, plenty of cliché stuff but the pining! God the pining in this book made scream and giggle like a lunatic. Everyone was saying this is good, but this beyond good. It’s “you-will-inhale-it-like-a-drug-addict” good. It had no business sucking me in like it did. It’s hands down the best sports romance I’ve read (I’m sorry Elle Kennedy, I’ve betrayed my hockey origins), and a great romance altogether. The characters? Felt like real people with real struggles, with real emotions and relationships, not that cheap, shallow stuff you get half the time. I’ll be, in fact, pulling an all nighter to read book 2!!!

Comparse comprese.
