Coolzy-Pro Portable Air Conditioner

I bought this expensive air conditioner trying to cool myself in a room that gets very hot in the summer. I understood that it was a spot cooler so positioned it very near to where I sleep and pointed it right at me. I have no window or door to vent a traditional portable ac so this seemed perfect, except it’s not. I left it on one night to cool me while I slept and it vents massive amounts of hot air out the back, a very poor design. During the night that heated up the entire large room up to a very uncomfortable temperature. The cool air coming out the front was not sufficient to overcome the heat it was dissipating so I ended up having to turn it off and slept in another room. I eventually solved my problem by installing a duct booster fan which was 6 times cheaper and does the job beautifully. This is a very poor design and just plain doesn’t work as advertised.

This little A/C is the best but it cools YOU and NOT the room as it states. I use it near my bed toward my upper body and leave it on all night and I sleep like a baby in the summertime. It's quiet on the low setting and blows enough cool air to make you feel comfortable while sleeping. I angle the back toward an open door to dispel the warm air but really the warm air does not keep me from feeling the cool air blowing toward me. I wanted a unit that I didn't have to vent out a window and this really does the trick.

This product was super hyped on various social media only to find that when it arrived, it doesn't work at all. They make it sound like it's the best thing ever but when I removed the securing tape, plug in and wait for it to start cooling, all I can hear is an attempt of the compressor, but no fans blowing. The red light lit up the overheating indicator within a few minutes. I unplug, waited a few hours to let it cool down, tried again, same thing. This product is an utter waste of money and time. Avoid it unless you want to stay hot while you're busying being disappointed. REVISION: To make matters worse, these folks are requiring me to purchase an oversized box to return two items as one, but I received these as 2 separate boxes and so they are just going to add insult to all this. Infuriating.

I will be traveling around the US this summer with my travel trailer. I really was not excited about having to stay in campgrounds every night just so I could have air-conditioning. I bought this unit and it was delivered today. So I decided to test it this afternoon in my office and I’m here to tell you this thing is legit! I have ran it off of my Jackery power station all afternoon, and actually had to turn it off because I got cold. And I was using lowest setting. And 3 hours only consumed maybe 20%. That means it should run all night easily from the power station. Let me repeat this. My AC will run on a power station all night. One other point to mention. There is an adjustable nozzle inside the unit I didn’t even have that open and it still got cold. Once I opened it, a lot more air came out. I believe this will definitely work in my camper and save me a lot of money because I will not have to pay for campgrounds. For those of you who have left negative reviews of this product, the only thing I can think of is that you were expecting this to be a whole room air conditioner. It is not a whole room air conditioner, but it will cool down the area that you are in.

First off the coolzy is decent power if your looking for something power efficient, but whoever’s idea it was to sell a hose for the hot air separately really is the spawn of satin, it does noting but push out more hot air then cool unless you buy an 75 DOLLAR ATTACHMENT, on a already expensive product compared to cheaper acs with 3 time the power

The Coolzy is great - it blows cold air as far as 8 ft and you can adjust the airflow direction and strength. It was fairly easy to attach the tail. Would recommend Coolzy provide a video for attaching the long tail as the enclosed diagram isn’t detailed enough. The negative reviews are not justified at all unless the instructions were not read and followed.

DO NOT BUY THE LONG TAIL HOSE EXTENSION IT WILL LEAK HOT AIR INTO YOUR HOUSE IT IS SHODDY. THE PIECES ARE FRAGILE AND DON'T SEAL PROPERLY. THIS WAS MADE BY AMATEURS. COOLZY SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR EVEN SELLING THAT PIECE OF CRAP HOSE EXTENSION. $75 EXTRA FOR A PIECE OF CRAP HOSE AND WINDOW KIT. DISGUSTING.

Does it produce cold air? Yes Does it produce enough cold air to offset the heat it puts out? No It is advertised as being able to do just that, but you find after a few minutes of use the room is warmer than it was when you turned it on. It can be cold directly in front of it but the rest of the room is going to suffer for it. Hoses to vent the hot air outside are not included with the unit because of the whole not needing a vent thing referenced above. So, should you want to vent it, which it clearly needs to be, they’ll charge another $75 for the attachment. So after all that I decided I want to return it, to which they replied no, they do not accept returns. They pointed me to the buried return policy on their website that is all of 1 line, “We do not offer Returns for change of mind.” So what that tells me is the company likely knows the product is crap so the return policy guarantees you're stuck with it. Their email customer service is sarcastic at best, so good luck getting anything resembling good customer treatment here. Save money and frustration by picking up a standard portable A/C from the hardware store. You’ll get a better working product and not dent the wallet so hard.
