Great value
I love this tool. I'm an automotive tech and it gets hot fast and is really easy to use. Only negative is I wish it just was a regular on and off switch. You have to press the power key 3 times and then hold it for 3 seconds to activate it. Can be annoying.

Good for the money
Wanted to switch from butane to a rechargeable. Controls are a little awkward at first, but once you get used to it it works well. Gets hot fast. Battery life is good.

Small safer option
I purchased 2. One for my son and one for me. It is a LOW power rechargeable iron. I have had success with it on small 18 ga wire. I would not recommend for someone looking to solder any wire thicker than that as it just doesn't seem to be made for that use.

Only worked once.
I was excited when I ordered it and received it. Used it once to test it and thought it was awesome... that only lasted for a short time. I now needed to use it for a project and... this piece of C#$% did not work. It doesn't heat above 78 degrees. Once I find the sellers information I'm going to request a return and never RECOMMEND this to anyone!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED with Amazon and this product. I reached out to Amazon to see if they would help me out, I wanted to get a replacement but they would only offer me money, I wanted a replacement because I have several projects to work on and can't wait. IM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED...

Makes repairs easy .
I was shocked with how good this tool work . Currently used it out side in about 58 degree weather and being that it was chilly it got hot enough to melt the solder. . Great product.

Not as good as Engineer original
This solder sucker would be fine if the Engineer brand sucker didn't exist. I sadly purchased this before knowing the Engineer sucker existed, and after my Frogbro got solder stuck in the nozzle I went ahead and purchased the Engineer, best decision ever. The Engineer is better in every way. First of all, it has way better fit and finish. The major advantages of the Engineer are that it has a beveled button so that it is more comfortable to press, and that its machining quality is way better. This better machining quality of the Engineer has led to less solder getting stuck in the nozzle for me. If you buy both, you can definitely tell the difference. Overall, this product is fine in a vacuum, but it is 100% worth the extra $7 to buy the original rather than the knockoff.

works great.
This product works great. easy to use. if i had to find something wrong. it needs a thinner tip and a carry case. Apart from that, very good product.

Works pretty well but not perfect
Honestly works well for a cheap solder sucker. Way better than the other inexpensive ones I've tried. Having the silicon tubing seems to make a difference in the "clearing" strength and allows the sucker to draw right from the component. The only thing is that it fills up quickly. I work on vintage electrons where they tended to glob the solder on. After almost every draw it needs to be cleared. If I let the solder cool I can slowly press the plunger and I'm able to pull the solder from the front of the tip rather than needing to disassemble it.

Highly Recommend This Powerful and Portable Soldering Iron
This product is fantastic! It heats up in just 15 seconds, making it perfect for projects of any size. It's portable, very powerful, and comes with a free stand and soldering wire. I definitely recommend it.

Didn't work, cold no matter what, returned for refund.
I didn't like that you need a hot tip to solder and this one was always cold.

FrogBro Desoldering Vacuum Pump Solder Sucker Solder Removal Tool
Its a nice product and it works but its a darn slippery little thing! Holding on to it while that little trigger is pressed (to release the suction) is a challenge. I got it in the end, and could use it, but when the plunger releases (and you move your finger to make the release motion) you have to really hang on to the body of this sucker, and there's not much grip on the body to do that. I do like the product, but I'm sure there could be better ways to improve this design. Pressing the sucking release trigger (that has an awkward placement) while holding the body (with the same hand) is the main issue. This design is worth the investment but it not prefect. As for suction. There's lots, but you have to get the silicon tip in very tight (to make a seal) and be directly on top of the liquified solder "of course" and do this in one smooth motion too (after you remove your hot iron). Then when you press the trigger (on the sucker) you need to maintain your grip on the Suckers body quite firmly (because as you move a finger to press the suction release trigger) it snaps a bit (when it sucks) And that action can move the sucker tip "off the target" and it'll break the suctions seal (over the liquified solder) and then it doesn't suck anything up (and of course you have to reheat) This sucker works, but it does take a bit of practice to use it smoothly (especially over fine solder points) I recommend anyone who hasn't used one like this before, to practice the "suction release" motion over and over until it feels comfortable and then go to "your task" to avoid having to heat and reheat your connections needlessly. It can also suck up circuit board "eyelettes" too (or anything else floating in the hot solder). So get in fast, be accurate with the tip placement, get that tight seal over the solder, then release the suction trigger as smooth as you can, and then get out. Its a great tool but as with all tools it has a little learning curve.
