Fairly good unit with a flaw - See update on customer service**
UDATE: Customer service on this product is Amazing! They reached out to me after my review and offered a number of suggestions for troubleshooting the unit to get it to work. After several unsuccessful tries to get the unit working they offered sending me an upgraded unit Osprey 300 free of charge.I accepted and definitely found an improved situation. That unit has 4 wheels instead of 2 which I believe is why it was getting stuck on the edges of my pool. The 300 picks up larger debris and does not get stuck on ripples or uneven areas on the pool bottom. So if you have a pool and there are no slanted edges on your pool the 200 unit might work for you. But if you have any form of larger debris, uneven/rippled floor or slanted edges on your pool then I suggest you go with the 300 model. I am truly impressed by the company going above and beyond to help fix/resolve the issue, making sure their customers are happy and satisfied. This is why I have changed my overall rating to 5 stars.I bought this unit cause I was looking for something that I could use daily/weekly to self clean the small stuff in the pool.Once I do a manual vacuum after opening the pool I can keep it pretty clean except that there would always be small which is where the robot would come in handy. For the most part the unit does a nice job of actually cleaning the pool so the small debrie in the pool. My only issue is the it tends to get stuck on the sides of the pool.I have a round 18ft above ground pool with a flat bottom. however as I mentionedevery so often it gets stuck around the sides of the pool. Its not always the same spot too.One spot it gets stuck one time it doesn't the next time and vise versa. I'm guessing it doesn't have enough power when it gets stuff to free itself. It is too bad as I like this unit. I just wish it wouldn't get stuck as often as it does.

Weak power, breaks easily
I've tried several robotic pool vacuums from different makers and this one is not very impressive. First thing I noticed is that it is slow to start. I submerge the vacuum to get the air out, push the power button, and let it drop. Sometimes it starts moving within a minute or 2, sometimes it takes several more minutes. Sometimes I have to pick it back out, turn it off, and start the process over again to get it going, and when it goes it just moves like it is so tired, sluggish. Also, the power button is located on the bottom of the vacuum which is very very inconvenient and poorly thought out. Many other products I've tried has the power on the top. Also, this one does not dock near the edge of the pool when finished. It's always at least 5 feet away from the edge. It tends to go in the same circle multiple times and when it gets to an edge it stays there for several minutes instead of going in another direction. But the reason I got upset enough to write a review is I went to go clean it out after a cycle and the wheel was left in the pool. After further investigation I can see that a tiny plastic piece that is meant to keep the wheel in place is just broken off. Weak plastic. It's not a part that can be swapped out either, ill have to get a whole new vacuum.

I really like my little robot!
I read the reviews before purchasing. Some were disappointed that it didnt have the suction power to pick up leaves and larger debris. For me, that is not an issue. I have an above ground pool that we set up in May and take down in September. I had already purchased an upgraded pool pump but its still a bit finicky when trying to connect a vacuum to get the dirt and tiny dead bugs at the bottom. This little robot is perfect for that! I use him about 2x a week and I would say the only part that is disappointing is that the tiniest ripple in the bottom of the pool vinyl causes him to get stuck. If I stay outside and monitor him every 10-15 min, he'll do great but it is a bit annoying that he gets stuck on the tiniest ripple. My spouse and I spent a lot of time over the last few years making sure the pool area was as flat as possible so it's not like we have a slope or anything.all in all, I've wanted a robotic pool vacuum for the last year, finally got this guy and I'm somewhat pleased with him. Super easy to clean, takes about 2 hours or more to charge but does what I need it to do (for the most part).

Great little cleaner! This is my third pool robot I've owned. .
The media could not be loaded. My second "corded" pool robot was about to die. Flex tape and bungies weren't cutting it. I decided to give this a try. I really gave it a work out as we just opened the pool and it was really dirty. It took just about an hour and 30 minutes to charge. Because the pool was so dirty, I decided to clean the robot after 10 minutes. You can see everything on the screen. It works very well. We have a very wrinkled liner and it has not got stuck at all. I do have a tip. When you lift it out to turn off, keep the unit upside down as the water drains out. If you drain sideways, some debris may go back in the pool. When I drained it upside down, all of what was sucked up stayed in the screen. It is a nice, really fine screen that is picking up all of the pollen at the bottom of the pool. Very happy with this. We will see how long it lasts. Seems well made.
