Let me start by saying we purchased this product 2 years ago. We needed something to keep the cats x large litter tray (the one from pets at home with the hood) neatly away where my toddler daughter wouldn’t be able to get to it but equally where it wouldn’t look ugly and out of place in our living area. We live in a small house, so space was a big factor. I remember the item came quickly, although expensive we could actually afford it (we couldn’t find anything else that was suitable, which we could afford). It put together fairly easily but the doors were a bit wonky, my partner managed to sort that out (but I cannot remember how). One of my cat likes to scratch the inside and was making the door pop open so we put a little latch lock on it which looks cute. We couldn’t have the inner wall on because the tray we have is too big. It is stored under our stairs with two grey wicker baskets on top for storage. It looks nice and nobody guesses that it is containing a litter tray, we just make sure we change it twice a week and we have had no problem with smell either. There is no question that for what it is, it is NOT high quality, it is basically MDF and it is overpriced. HOWEVER it is the nicest most reasonably priced discreet cover that I could find and I spent ages looking on the internet, even looking at posh litter trays (extraordinary what people will pay for a litter tray?). Anyway, I would recommend it. Hope that helps someone.

Bought this as wanted something super discreet for my 4 year old British short hair Tinkerbelle and her 12 week old little brother Buddy. Was so impressed at how very easy this was to put together. The instructions are so straight forward and every piece and bag of screws etc were clearly marked by letters so there was no way you could go wrong. If only all DIY items came this way. Built this myself in just 30 minutes. You can choose which end the entry hole goes which is ideal and whether you want the in between doorway bit or not which is very handy if you have or need a larger litter tray. Very sturdy classy looking but of furniture that only you will ever know what it houses. Always had covered litter tray housed under a coffee table but this is fab and next level. As you can see cat loves sitting on it which is an added bonus and despite her grumpy face she does love it. The doors open easily on the front to make changing the litter very easy. I have put a deep litter tray in and a litter grabbing mat in the i between section which completely stop ms any litter spilling out. To begin with we are keeping one door open to allow the cat’s to get used to it and for us to feel confident they are happy then we will close the door. Very impressed with it and the colour is lovely. Very well put together design and I feel it will definitely stand up to the test of time and my little fluff balls!!

I always read consumer reviews before buying but very rarely leave a review myself so here goes...... I got delivery of my new cat litter furniture today - it took me 30 mins to put it together, by myself. If you're ok with making IKEA units, then this will be a doddle - same type of fixtures & instructions. I got the weathered grey which is a very neutral colour and looks great. It's not fantastic material - it is MDF - but I knew that before buying. However it is very heavy & sturdy when made up. I can't comment on cleaning it yet. I have 2 Coonies so I need large litter trays. The ones I use are hooded (58L x 45W x 48Hcm) and even at that the kitty kats end up sticking their heads out the front when using them (I have removed the flap door for them). That was one of the reasons I wanted this unit. I didn't install the inner partition and the base of the litter tray fits the unit perfectly, HOWEVER I had to remove the hooded top as the unit is not as tall/high as I thought (even though I measured it twice!). But if the lack of internal height is an issue or the fur babies can't use it comfortably, then I'll resume my online search & move the unit upstairs & fit it out as a hidey cuddle bed in the bedroom or on the landing. In conclusion: I would recommend this sturdy and decent looking piece of furniture. Would be nice as a side table with a lamp, etc on top. Not sure yet if interior is tall enough for large cats to comfortably use, however I would say it's absolutely perfect for the smaller cat.

I have two rag dolls who are constantly jumping in and out of litter tray and trailing it everywhere , bought a mat for under it but didn’t make any difference so when I seen this thought it was worth a try , I’m glad I did , their litter tray is on the large side so I left the middle section out and the tray fits in well with still room left to fall inside before they come out , I put their rubber mat under it so catches the spills , haven’t seen any litter outside this unit since I bought it which is great as less clean up for me , which I felt I was constantly doing , I put their litter box in with their already used litter so they could smell where their litter box was , so they used it straight away with no problems , the unit is of great quality and looks like a piece of furniture , my only gripe is it only came in grey when I was ordering , as I’ve put it in the conservatory alongside my rattan furniture which is dark , but come summer I will take it outside and spray paint it and it will fit in nicely , overall great for hiding the litter tray and keeping the mess at bay

Terrible quality, i put this together and didnt even think to check the top as it came so well packaged, on closer inspection i realised just how bad the quality was and it already looks about 5 years old! I understand that for the price its not going to be amazing quality but this is just shocking!

I rarely leave a review but since I’m pleasantly surprised, I’m leaving one. After getting a second cat (kitten) I figured it would be good to upgrade the litterbox. I’ve purchased an XXL stainless steel litterbox of 60x40 (do not know height by heart) and it fits perfectly inside this without divider. Easy to set up. After set up it’s more sturdy. Both cats like using the litterbox in here

This thing is fantastic! Great quality and simple to put together. The inner cabinet seems spacious and I'm sure can fit and type of litter box. It's sleekly designed and will go great in my home. The smell that some people are being quite whiny about is not that bad it smells like new furniture. I'm sure it smells much better than the old nightstand I'm replacing and I'm hoping the door will help be a deterrent to my dogs. 100% would suggest to a friend or any cat owner looking to add a little bit of concealment and privacy to their pets litter experience.

Looks great and hides the litter box well! It helps to contain a bit of the litter too. Some still comes out on my cats feet but it is less with this. It was fairly easy to assemble, I was able to do it alone. My cat took to it well and seems to have enough space to move around in it. So far so good!
