Very good handset !!!
Its taken me a year to get round to writing a review for the Lumia 930 , after having had Lumia 520 , 625 and 635 I thought the only way forward was to get the 930 and I am so glad that I did ! The screen is amoled which means that its the blacks don't run down your battery and the HD is super amazin ! It is a very fast handset ! Fits nicely in your hand and has a very nice feel to it ! A feel of quality ! It comes with a wireless charging plate so you can just sit your phone on the plate and it will charge ! Its not all good I am disappointed that there is no expandable memory in the handset so you only have 32gb which to be honest s quite a bit as it will hold alot of songs and pictures ! Mine came with windows 8.1 loaded onto it but as soon as windows 10 was released I installed it and I wasn't disappointed as windows 10 is far better ! I even use it on my laptop ! And having apps like drop box and others means that you can view your files on any computer or handset ! I would defo recommend this handset to anyone looking to spend around £300 for a great hand set ! Its aluminium round the edges which makes it sturdy and has gorilla glass 3 in it but I would recommend using a screen protector as like any mobiles the screen is prone to little scratches and at £2 for 3 screen protectors they are well worth the money ! An amazing handset and should last you for years ! :-)

Happy
Fantastic phone, did have one issue with Office which was resolved:Initially loved the phone, for many reasons, screen, camera, interface etc. and I was able to edit Excel docs on OneDrive, using MS Office, which was free. When I upgraded to insider tech preview Windows 10, Excel suddenly required a subscription to edit docs, so I gave it a big thumbs down and a really bad rap everywhere.Despite loving the phone, it was a deal breaker for me, free editing using Office was the main reason I bought the phone, to integrate with OneDrive, and the already paid for version of Office on my laptop. After a lot of complaining, I received an email from MS indicating that it is free again, so I reinstalled and yippee I can edit docs for free again! Thanks MS for making it free to edit docs again on my phone. Office is an unbeatable app, even though I only make minor edits on my phone (not enough to warrant a subscription), the functionality is excellent, and all the Excel charts etc. work really well. It's really handy being able to create shortcuts to each doc on the desktop, grouped easily together just by dragging one over the other, then one click and I'm back to the place where I was editing the last time, even on a different device.Another plus is that more and more apps, available on other platforms, are appearing in the store. The integration between the apps was great, but in the new updates to Windows 10 is getting better all the time e.g. the calendar now syncs with all my Gmail and Hotmail accounts, so all my reminders are in sync on my devices.I use the navigation constantly and offline maps with Here maps is a real bonus, invaluable on a recent trip to Australia, when out in the boonies.OneNote is excellent, easy to use and organize different sets of notes, synced across devices.Haven't paid for an app yet and really happy with all the ones I use.I have now changed my mind about selling my Windows phone, which was going to be hard because I love it!!

Do not buy this phone from online stores.
I already own one LUMIA 930 and I cannot be happier with it. So, my dad's phone stopped working and I ordered a phone like mine. What impressed me in L930: battery lasts for 5-7 days (I use the phone for occasional conversations, taking pics, checking e-mail). However, when the new L930 arrived and I started setting it up, after all the updates etc, I noticed that the battery is getting drained really fast. So I recharged the phone again. When I unplugged it after a nice 10h charge (excessive, my phone only needs 1-2h max to be fully charged), I notice that the battery lasts for a little over a day (every single function that may drain battery life has been disabled on the new phone). After 4h of doing nothing, the battery was on 70%. This is not OK.Another thing is that the capacitive buttons should be WHITE, however on this phone they were YELLOW (a sign of some malfunction).I love my L930 as it is truly the best phone I've ever owned, however, the phone which I received from here appears to be broken, hence 1 star. I will be sending it back for a full refund. Be very careful when you buy L930 online as you might be surprised with a defective model!

It's a really good phone, looks and works great
It's a really good phone, looks and works great, fast and have a strong performance, I wish to give five stars! But still, like the earlier models, if it gets freeze, and you can not turn back on with the soft reset keys, better to prepare that you going to loose all your data. If the soft reset is not an option, probably the hard reset won't be as well. Sadly you can be shure that, sooner or later the phone will be frozen. The problem could be easily solved by removing the battery and reattaching it, but you have to remove the whole back part, and due to this, you'll loose the warranty. So in this case, the only solution is to send the phone to warranty service, wich can take weeks. If you decide to buy this phone, my advice is, never let the battery to be dry (because maybe you won't be able to charge it agin on your own), and do backup saves often.I did this mistake, than I couldn't turn the phone on agin. I charged, with the wall charger, the wifi charger, and attached to the PC, wich is not recognized the phone, everything was useless, and the reset buttons (soft and hard) didn't work of corse. Now I'm waiting for my phone to be repaired. Shame for Nokia, or Microsoft, still none of them could solve these recurrent and common problems.
