I always wanted a robot toy to tak with as a child but never got one so when I found this little guy I just needed to have him for my kids. Some pros I can see: came promptly, securely packed. It is fairly easy to set up by following instructions attached in box. It's small and doesn't take much space on kids size desk. It is really fun to play with and talk! Can be moody, grumpy or even mad!! This is so fun, imitating emotions. Brilliant way to occupy your kids for hours. What I dislike? It's definitely a price! It's horrendously expensive for a toy, I know it's AI but still. Also I really don't like quality of accessories included, they should be so nicely made as main toy not some cheap looking bits like from Barbie box. Overall this is amazing futuristic toy and definitely not something that kids will get bored easily.

Got those for my little girls birthday she absolutely loves it

I can't complain too much, as it _does_ do what is advertised, which is why I've still given it three stars. It was my own fault and choice for buying. The problem is, once you have it at home, it's a little lacklustre after the first 10-15 minutes. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife, after she'd seen it advertised, and we almost got one each. I'm glad we didn't, as we were both left feeling a little "Okay... is that it?" More thought needs to go into these. Heck, make them wifi and/or bluetooth enabled and allow them to act as interactive characters for when you call someone or they call you. Imagine talking to your partner or a friend, and having them be able to chat through it, with all the cute expressions? Perhaps they could even control the gestures and expressions during a call. I got a make-it-yourself robot for half the price, that is far less 'technically' advanced, but fully bluetooth controlled and can walk around my desk. I've had plenty of fun with that, and it even had everyone trying it out in the office! Eilik doesn't really have much in the way of interaction other than the head or stomach patting, which means you either have it on, being noisy and annoying rather than cute, or collecting dust on the desk. It would get a lot more mileage even with something as simple as a motion sensor, so it could be relatively dormant till you come near, and then waves hello or something, and perhaps react to sounds in some way. Unfortunately it's just a very expensive dust collector. It's a shame, as it's a great little idea and the personality it can portray is nice, but the interaction needed a _lot_ more thinking through.

I got this as a birthday present for my niece who just turned 11, and she absolutely loved it! The Eilik toy is adorable, interactive, and kept her entertained for hours. Great quality and super fun—perfect for kids around that age!
