The overall fit was fantastic. My husband has smaller wider feet and a funny tendon that makes ankle support more dangerous than it is helpful and is against steel toe boots. So finding him the right shoes is quite the challenge. But he put these bad boys on and they were almost a perfect fit. It gave good range of motion for his ankle, waterproof is effective and he isn’t having to deal with wet feet all day at work and not bad to break in. It almost doesn’t need it. The boots do require thicker socks to prevent the feeling the steel toe in the shoe which sucks for breatheability but over all was a great choice in boots for a boot that doesn’t come in wide sizes.

I did need to return these shoes. They are very large and heavy. I was looking for shoes to use for hiking and these shoes might be better for someone to wear to work when the additional durability is required.
