Worked perfectly

My general experience with Masterbuilt is that they have brilliant ideas for great products, and then implement them about 80% of the way. If you are modestly handy and moderately determined, you can repair or work around the hiccups--and when you do, you have some of the best grilling products that exist. My specific experience with this pizza oven is consistent with that. I understand that it will work with most grills, but it is designed well and cleverly to fit snugly into Masterbuilt Gravity Series grills. The construction feels solid and heavy duty. But I had an assembly problem. I own a Masterbuilt 1050, their flagship product. The pizza oven ships with two stainless steel panels that need to be attached to it in order to fit into the 1050. The assembly manual says to use "screws" to do the attachment. The body of the pizza oven comes with threaded holes for the screws, and there are matching holes in the stainless panels--but the box does not contain the actual screws needed to make the attachment. Without these panels, the 1050 grill is too wide for the pizza oven to fit into it. I contacted Masterbuilt support, and they sent me a second panel kit--but again, no screws. Finally I just put the pizza oven into the car and took it to my local Lowe's to identify the needed screws. For anyone else who's looking, they are 6mm machine screws. You'll need ones with flat heads in order to fit snugly. With that done, the oven is a great product and works beautifully with my 1050. There is a learning curve to making pizza this way, but I'm figuring it out and loving it! I've also used it to bake potatoes outside on a hot summer day rather than using the oven in the kitchen. Again, worked great.

With all of the accessories for my Masterbuilt Gravity 800 like Pizza Oven and the Rotisserie I am doing almost all of my cooking outside these days. I've done more cooking with this grill and it's accessories this summer than I have done in the past 40 years (we cook on it everyday). I also recommend everyone that owns one checks out KlotesMods and LSS Mods for all of the mods and upgrades for all of the gravity built series grills.

Husband purchased this after we bought our Masterbuilt. We made like 8 pizzas the first time with it, because we had family over and everyone loved it!! Definitely worth it for us, as we love homemade pizzas and it will be used as often as we can, because we love doing other meats in our Masterbuilt too!

Easy to instal in my MB800. The oven get up to temp very quick and the stone gets nice and hot. Have to make sure to check your pizza every 3 min. Because it will burn. Other than that very pleased with this pizza oven attachment.
