Seemed like a good solution to stop our toddler from getting into things. A few problems: 1) the tape would not successfully adhere to the plastic of the garbage can, 2) Once in place on the office door the latch kept slipping out of the holder 3) when the latch would slip it impossible to get it back in. We went through 3 of them before we gave up and removed it completely. Maybe they work better on certain textures or materials, but that is not indicated anywhere on the packaging or web description.

Does not stick
We Installed these on our kids’ closet doors. They were easy enough to install. Stuck them on as instructed and waited a while for adhesive to set and came back. Barely pulled on the door and the latch detaches. This would never stand up to my two and four year old. Want a refund

We (adults) were able to bust through them, accidentally, but kids cant. Not sure if maybe we had the wrong door type. also- they are not long and do not stretch far, so you must have the correct door to wall measurements or a flat frame perhaps.

So far so good, this product has kept the children out of my dangerous drawers.

Doesn't work
My 1.5 year old daughter and 1 year old niece can just yank on the cupboard and the strap come right out of the side that's supposed to stay anchored. Waste of money.
