This rubber mulch is beautiful. I love the way it looks, and how it covers the weeds and stops them from growing. Very easy to lay down. The only drawback is it’s very expensive. It would cost me a fortune to place everywhere I would like. Next year i will buy some more.

Yes, it will tear so I roll them up to move. I have been using empty Amazon boxes on ground first, then the rubber walkway on top. This is in a new perennial bed so it is a work in progress. Yes, they are pretty high $, but I think better than the wood slat walkways.

This product does look very realistic once down.. Its pretty easy to lay and looks good at a glance. However, there a few negatives which resulted in me giving only 4 stars.. The product is pretty pricey for the amount you receive. Theres alot of waste once you start cutting and you lose a lot, so order more than you need. The product is pretty difficult to cut by surprisingly tears real easily. It comes with a weed barrier but is not attached at all, which is more of a nuisance. The barrier is very low quality too, so if thats your only weed protection you WILL be disappointed. I suggest buying a REAL weed barrier and install that first. It comes with no information sheet or installation instructions, so you are on your own with trial and error and figuring out what works best. It also has no pins to hold down, so you'll need to buy those separately. Lastly its VERY HOT! If you are placing it around heat sensitive plants you probably need to cut back away from those plants and back fill with real mulch. So far, Im overall pleased with the look. If early failure happens or it starts looking bad, I will definitely report back with an update!!

Looks so realistic; great value for the cost, weight awesome, very functional.

Terrible quality. The mat basically falls apart. Your fingers will go right through it and it’s impossible to make a straight cut to size without destroying it. I seriously doubt this would last very long in your yard.

I bought this with the intention of cutting it into two strips, and it worked great! There is a fabric layer attached to the bottom, and the mulch is melted into a matt well enough that it cuts nicely (the line won't be perfect, but it looks great anyway. It's thick enough that weeds don't grow through, and it feels fine on bare feet. Definitely planning to buy more.

lowered one star because it is poor quality. Cutting it leads product to breaking apart and difficult to work with. The better quality ones are very expensive but easier to work with. Food for thought. If using this product without cutting it is possible then consider it.

Not good for a walkway! I bought these because I liked the environmental idea of using recycled rubber (why I gave them two stars). However these started falling apart as soon as I handled them. There was no grass or weeds when put them down with the included weed barrier although I did not put down grass killer first. The grass and weeds grew right through it!! Maybe good for flower beds but not for a walkway. The picture included the rubber stall mats I cut down and work MUCH better Why did you pick this product vs others?: Environmentally conscious
