There should about 62mg of brewers yeast per tablet and about 4.9mg of garlic per tablet.

There is a "best by" date stamped on the edge of the lid.

Q: Does this product deter fleas?

I am not really sure, as I do give my dog flea preventive along with the Brewer's. But I can say that I live out in a rural area with lots of ticks and fleas around, and so for over the last 10 yrs or so I have never had a problem with her having fleas. I have found a few ticks on her, but that is to be expected. At first I was using the topical flea products, usually a cheaper on once a month, but now my groomer gives her a flea pill once a month. But there has been times that I have went 2/3 months between topical treatments and still have not had any fleas. So I think it has helped some in deterring the fleas. I also give it for the skin and coat.
