worth the price
It never disconnected itself or anything and was good for all use. I sometimes wish it had more USB ports (mouse, drawing tablet, and a USB), but normally I don't have occasions where I need more than two, so it's fine. The sound quality when using AUX may not be the best, but it's fine because my MacBook already has an AUX hole.I bought this for $37.99 when it was on sale. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth the price since it has the SD port and stuff.

Works great
Works great so far, fast data access and good build quality.

Inexpensive and works
Has three data ports and one dedicated charging port if needed. No loss of data speed.

Good, but power hungry on PD
Works well, but requires a high output PD charger. An 18W PD powerbank will only trickle charge your device through this.

Failed after 5 months and Failed customer service
I bought this device in order to add some functionality to my Mac mini, since the Mac mini has a pretty limited number of ports. It worked great for 5 months and then didn't.The problems started when the on-screen pointer controlled by my mouse suddenly changed. It became very tiny and offset, permanently misaligned. It became very difficult to use my computer this way. I tried everything I could to correct it. Then it occurred to me to disconnect the Belkin hub. That was the issue. Once I disconnected the hub everything returned to normal and stayed that way. When I reconnected it then the same problem would immediately occur. i repeated this process several times to confirm the problem. So I cannot recommend this product. It was a waste of money. From this point forward I am updating this review.I contacted Belkin customer support about their failed product. I was eventually connected with an agent in what sounded like a very busy call service in India or Pakistan. After requests for information and proof of receipt i was told that I couldn't be helped. When I protested then the agent said he would contact his superiors directly and get back to me. This was likely a scripted response. The agent eventually got back to me with the good news that I was approved for a replacement. This all turned out to be a run-around performance and a further waste of time for me.I received a link through which I was supposed to apply for the product replacement. The link took me to a window on the Belkin website where this product was being sold. It was then that I realized that I was not being offered a true replacement, only the opportunity to purchase the failed product again but at a discounted rate. This was all just a means for Belkin to make more money on a product that failed me. Pretty gross.I emailed the customer service agent to make sure that a mistake wasn't made. No response. So, not only can I not recommend this product, as it was a waste of money and also time, but I also would discourage anyone from doing business with Belkin given their poor treatment of customers.I would give lower than a one star review if it was possible.

A Handy and Durable Multiport Dongle
Background:I have a Dell Precision laptop that has laughable 1 usb-c port (granted it is a circa 2020 machine). I wanted an expansion dongle that would have at least 3 ports. I usually prefer Anker products, but back then, none of the Anker products had only usb-c. There were other hard-to-name Chinesium brands which were similarly priced as this Belkin, so I decided to go with the Belkin, as I have used numerous Belkin products.Pros:Compact design and layout. The first port even has pass through current up to 100W to charge smaller devices.Easy to open packaging.Good "click" locking mechanism for the connections. No speed reduction when using multiple drives/storage devices.Con (More of an Improvement):I wished the upstream power cord was removable, which would make it easy to store and could use different lengths if needed. The current 12-inch one is not bad, but can cause issue to fold while carrying or storing.Bottomline:For $35 you can't go bad with a good brand that has been around. I will give it a 4.6/5.0.
