Is this company still in business?
I purchased 60 of these back in 2017. It worked well for us, but the USB plug breaks off after a few insertions. It is held on by only 4 solder joints. We had several fry or stop working. But overall it is the only gizmo that I've found that lets me control AC from a USB executable. Great for a command script. They don't answer their phones, nor reply in the contact form. I think Covid got them.

Multiple units failed.
I ordered one, and it just stopped working after 3 days. I had to have it for a demonstration, so I ordered another one. It failed the first time I plugged it in and started turning the electronics that were plugged into it on and off very rapidly until it finally just turned them off and stopped responding. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, resetting the unit, etc. After a long while of having it unplugged, I tried it again, and it worked for a little while and then failed again.I did not engage with their support because with 2 out of 2 units failed quickly, so I do not care enough to keep dealing with it. It's a nice idea, but bad execution. I'll be looking for an alternative.

MFG Software doesn't work with linux, but a third party python for linux exists.
Update from a previous review. The power strip works wonderfully and is cheap. Two stars off for software hassle. The Linux software provided by the manufacture just doesn't work with ubuntu 14.04. The software is not open source and relies on obsolete USB libraries. I was able to find some python software on github: [...] that did work with a minor modification described here:[...].It was not that hard to get working, though ponderous as to why the MFG can't keep the software current

Really cool device!
Nifty idea, let your computer control electric outlets! Ran into two problems: It doesn't seem to work on 64-bit Windows 7 (so far), and you can't have the GUI open at the same time as you're controlling it via the command line. This is a minor issue for me, since the intent is to control a light, turning it on automatically as an alert, but then turn it off via the GUI to acknowledge it.

Perfect controller for turning electric device on and off
Perfect controller for turning electric device on and off, and it works down to the seconds level. The ability to control electric toys down to the second level, with a rolling (cyclical) ability to turn things on and off is great. Some computer knowledge (minimal) is required.

Unprofessional software - unreliable performance
I purchased two of these units to power on / off computers from another computer. The build quality if fairly flimsy for a power strip. Grounded plugs easily slid into the device's sockets and too easily slid out. The software is medieval, perhaps designed for Windows 98 or whenever it was that USB devices were first introduced. The software does not run as a service and will power down attached devices if closed. The devices attached to the unit power off suddenly without explanation repeatedly. I have removed the devices from operation and wish I could return them.

one of the three "controlled outputs" was not controllable. ...
one of the three "controlled outputs" was not controllable. When turned to the "off state" it would intermittently turn on. This was not observed on the other two "controlled outputs" suggesting that it was a failure. I received no response or support from the manufacturer

Very Pleased
Software was easy to install and easy to use.The device does exactly what I want it to do, which is to switch device power on and off under software control.I didn't realize it would give me a electrical cost estimate for each socket. That was a nice extra I didn't expect.
