The media could not be loaded.  I have been using this flat iron to create flips and texture to my layered hair. The design of the wands are curved, which makes it work better than others I have used to flip and curl, but the flat surface on the inside makes it work well as a straightener. It also works without creating breakage or other damage. It always looks shiny, smooth, sleek and healthy. I don’t fully understand the technology but I do understand the outcome and I like it. It has three temperature options as represented by LED colors: green light is 329 ° F, blue light is 365 ° F, and the red light is 410 ° F. This makes it easy for me to select the ideal temperature for my hair type. I use red for me and green for my daughter. My hair is thicker and her is more baby fine. It comes with a piece that fits on the end to hold and protect the wands and it comes with a heatproof glove

I love this straightener! It's easy to use and does a great job on all the different types of hair from thinner fine hair to super thick, coarse hair. This flat iron heats up quickly and is easy to hold. It isn’t too heavy so I can do a full head without feeling arm fatigue. I highly recommend this flat iron !

The QUVAS hair straightener has a lot of nice features. My favorite thing about this is that it has a locking mechanism. I have a toddler in my house, and while I never leave a heated tool unattended, it is nice to know that should wayward hands find it, the risk of burns would be minimal. I also like the auto-off function should I become distracted and forget to turn it off. One of the best things about this iron is that the heat control dial is inside the wand instead of in the handle. One of my biggest pet peeves of other irons I've owned is that I tend to bump the controls as I curl my hair. With this iron, that's not a problem. This iron heats up quickly in under a minute. It is programmable in increments of ten degrees, and it can get very hot. The heat plates are very smooth. The 360° swivel cord comes with a hook and loop tape, which makes storage easier.The three things that I do not like about this iron are that the plates are fairly short, which makes styling long hair more difficult. This iron is better for short to medium length hair. In addition, I feel like the list price of around seventy-five dollars is a bit high. I have two other irons with similar features that work just as well that were half the price. Finally, the plastic casing, while smooth, feels a bit inexpensive. For an iron at this price point, I expect a nicer finish.Overall, this is a decent tool. It is well-designed and works well. It has many nice features.

I love this straightener, I use it to make loose curls in all the girls hair in my home. It's easy to use and does a great job on all the different types of hair from my thinner fine, babysoft hair to my stepdaughter super thick, coarse hair. It heats up quickly and I love the little silicone sleeve that is included.

I was able to try out this flat iron on my wavy hair. This flat iron came in a very pretty bright and pretty pink. The heat settings and usability were very good. It heated up nicely and did a decent job in straightening my hair. The only two things that I felt needed improvement were: 1.) The tension of this flat iron wasn't as good as my CHI flat iron. With that being said, this flat iron was half the cost of my CHI flat iron; and 2.) The cost: I prefer to see this being sold at around the $60 mark: I like deals and felt that I would be willing to pay no more than $60 for this flat iron: Based on it's functionality.I think this flat iron falls more in the 3.75 star range; but, I did decide to give it 4 stars, because, it did in fact did straighten my hair. I think this would be a nice gift for a teenage girl (as a starter iron), since it can also be used as a curling iron.
