Best tv ever owned
The Samsung TV was ordered on a Friday afternoon, delivered Sunday morning.Box was un-damaged, in 5 ⭐️ shape. Had to first remove the 8 year old Sony TV before installing the new Samsung. It is a 2 person job, but only because of the size of the TV, 65”, not the weight, bulky to manage with only one. The Samsung was sitting on the same cabinet as the old Sony, no wall installation. The platform legs the Samsung TV sits on are easily installed, and sturdy. The new tv rested on a table covered with a blanket. It’s best to connect the cables while still on the table, for the HDMI and soundbar. When the tv is upright it is a little more difficult to see the ports. Easily flipped the tv onto the cabinet. Hardware setup complete. Power up the tv, about 20 minutes to configure the software for the tv, as well as the existing Sony soundbar, which works great. Oh, the picture … we have DirectV, absolutely amazing picture. This is the older model Samsung S90C, the S90D was actually on sale briefly for the same price. Compared the ratings for both between the S90C and the S90D, and the S90C somehow performed significantly better, especially for Sports. The S90D did better for gaming, faster processor, but that’s not now how this tv will be used, it’s mainly for movies and sports. Picked the S90C for just that reason. Buying the kids the same for Christmas. Fortunately did not have to contact Samsung support, which is getting poor grades for those that unfortunately need that service. Hoping luck holds out.

No issues, no regrets going with a OLED
I've had this 65" OLED S90C TV for just over 7 months now and have not had a single issue with it. Knowing that reviews started OLED might not perform well in bright rooms (as opposed to QLED), I gave it a chance anyway. I'm not disappointed. It is plenty bright enough for my family room with a large east facing sliding door. At night, OLED just excels with its ability to display HDR content and true blacks.I've had several Samsung devices, including a previous 10+ year old 40" LED HD TV this one replaced. Never any issues with them. My only wish is I had more room to mount a TV larger than 65"... I would have gone for the 85". I was blown away with how thin and light this thing is for its size. Paired with a new ONKYO TX-RZ50 and true Dolby 5.1.4 Atmos sound system (not some sound bar, rather a full surround system speaker setup), it is amazing to watch movies again and listen to immersive audio.

Buy one for yourself!
It’s a great TV! The image quality and using once control remote for everything is amazing. The interesting here is that we have to pay extra to stream 4K to YouTube in Netflix if we want to see the shows with that quality. That’s the caveat bit has nothing to do with this TV. Buy one for yourself!

DO NOT BUY...SAMSUNG SUPPORT IS HORRIBLE
After 6 months the TV died. Will not power on. Apparently, others have had the exact same problem with this TV. Amazon and the seller told me " not our problem". So I reached out to Samsung " customer service" ( what a joke) and set up a home repair online , since the item was still under warranty. I had the insane idea that when their response was that they would be at my home thursday afternoon, I could take that literally. Was I wrong! I tired calling their customer service number and was put on hold three times, each for about 20 minutes. When I finally got through, they were surprised to find I was crazy enough to think I could make an appointment online, just because they say you can. They tried to tell me that the technician tried calling me and couldn't get through. So, Im supposed to wait 24/7 by my phone with bated breath and if I miss that one call, I'm screwed? Then they had the audacity to tell me " we don't have time to be on the phone all day"! So we are basically at the point where this rude technician is supposed to call me and set up another appointment. surprise, surprise, no call. Even if I get through to the " customer service center", they just refer you to the repair service, that never answers. THANKS AMAZON, now I have a 2500$ piece of trash in my living room.

Almost Perfect
Likes are almost everything1. This OLED display panel is visually gorgeous2. The Tizen OS is very good once you get familiar with it, first week you may not like it if coming from Google TV OS3. Plenty of HDMI 2.1 ports (4)4. Good sound for as thin as this TV is, most people will use a sound bar.5. Very responsive and quick using the OS6. Gaming is great, probably the best of all TV'S for gaming7. Cost and value are really great for what you getDislikes1. Motion could be better on movies, at first you may notice it but past a week and it doesn't seem as visible, but it's much better than my U8H Hisense, The Sony A80 is better at motion2. Upscaling older movies and TV shows is good, but Sony is better at that also.I am totally satisfied it's the best TV I have ever owned, it's the first Samsung for me, I plan on wall mounting it this week of thanksgivingAmazon delivery service was also great, they took it into the room that I set it up in.I did think about returning it the first 5 days I had it only because of the OS seemed to be illogicalBut I now really like it, I had always used Roku or Android TV, The Tizen is just as good now. Can't wait to watch my every year Christmas movie Die Hard on Blu-ray with the Xbox series XBUY IT
