Water repellent
Great product I sprayed my patio umbrella and water and sap doesn't penetrate the fabric

Works great, does what it says it will do
I had some waterproof fishing clothes that were beginning to not be so water proof anymore. I purchased this spray and treated 2 jackets and some water proof fishing pants. I must say the results are impressive. I followed the instructions and after treating I gave the garments plenty of time to air dry before use. After treatment water beads up and rolls off. I'm a happy customer!

16.9 oz bottle revived water resistance on 5 jackets, as advertised.
16.9 oz bottle covered 5 jackets, as advertised. Wore one of the jackets earlier same day (an Eddie Bauer) before treating and it wetted out indicating it was no longer water resistant. Cleaned them, sprayed Revivex on exterior of all to saturate, and ran them all through drier. Verified it restored water resistance, including the one I had worn earlier. No experience yet on durability.

Great for reviving Gore-Tex and Adjacent Products
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I use this to retain the water repellency on my Goretex Jackets and similar waterproof breathable membrane products. Columbia Omni-Tech, Drake Waterfowl Duck Hunting Jackets, North Face Backpacks, and even canvas materials. It is much better than other products I have used in the past. An essential piece of kit for outdoorsmen, I keep a bottle in my hunting bag.

Worst pump ever.
The product may work, time will tell, but applying it is a nightmare. The trigger pops off the pump every other squeeze.

Do Not Buy
This product did not work at all. Followed all directions and used the entire bottle on to re-waterproff one rain jacket. The jacket did not perform any better after using this spray and I was soaked. I highly recommend you do not buy this.

Very good product, and reasonable price.
Works very well. The spray bottle has a good, strong, spread of fine spray. Got 2 jackets covered easily with ~20 sprays each (that's a very rough guess, but I sprayed the jackets down quite a bit to ensure I didn't miss any spots - I'm just trying to say the spray bottle works well). The formula is great, we tested it on card board, and it totally works. Sprayed the jackets (Northface and Arcteryx), both are looking great. No issues with spots, nor any discoloration (my jackets are dark grey and black).Very good product, and reasonable price, I'll get the same again when I run out of this one (probably after next year).

Good stuff. Read this review!
Leaving this review because I saw a lot of complaints that this leaves spots/stains and ruined peoples jackets. That is almost 100% user error. The photos attached are after I treated my gear with this spray. This stuff works very well on my Gortex outerwear. It left no stains or spots on my black Burton AK jacket and bib. Also no spots on my 686 jacket which has lighter colors(more susceptible to oil/dirt stains.) Water was beading up and running off the jackets. Very hydrophobic. If you haven’t washed Gortex or other similar waterproof gear, I would recommend visiting their site and looking at the steps.First I wash the gear with Grangers performance detergent. Then I hang dry completely. Once it’s dry, I throw it in the dryer on low heat for 20 minutes to reactivate any remaining DWR. In some cases that’s all that is needed to make your gear water resistant again. If DWR is needed after the above steps, I hang up the gear and spray it down completely until the gear is wet to the touch. If the spray is beading up and dripping down your jacket you want to wipe off that excess with a clean rag. Apply generously to the shoulders and other high contact areas. After this you can just hang dry your gear but I like to throw it back in the dryer for another 20 minutes on low or medium heat. (Some DWR sprays need that heat to activate.) I know other peoples routines may vary but I do this once or twice a year to my jackets and it works well every time.Gear revivex and Grangers Repel + are my DWRs of choice. I do think Gear Revivex tends to be my favorite.
