The plastic tab broke off the original Dyson dust bin lid. I was taping it closed which was a nuisance as the tape getting dirty every time I emptied the bin. I was surprised to find the replacement lid for a very good price. I was worried I would break something trying to install it since it is all just plastic (like the original) but I was able to get it in and it works great. The fit is tight and there are no air leaks that I can tell.

It fits and easy to install it

I had purchased this replacement dust bin lid last fall. The lid is good quality but the other day the vacuum cleaner was dropped extra hard and the tab on the lid broke off. I ordered another and the sellers included two lids instead of one in case of another break. Great customer service.

So far so good. It fit the Dyson V8 nicely.

I purchased this kit for my Dyson V7. The replacement lid/dust bucket cover and the pre-filter are a perfect fit and appear to be equal in quality to the original Dyson parts. However although the HEPA post-filter also seems to be well made it does not fit a V7. In order for it to be used a separate adapter MUST be purchased. Disappointing as the adapter costs more than this entire kit

Old Dyson was pretty beat up. These replacement parts were easy to install and made the vacuum work like new.

This lid saved me from buying a whole new canister. No issues with compatibility. The original lid catching mechanism broke because it is brittle plastic. So is this one but we'll be more careful with it. Make sure you watch a YT video on how to remove and replace the lid. It is NOT a fun and easy process but I hope to not have to repeat it. If I do, I would consider buying this brand again.

Very difficult to attach. Took an hour to figure it out.Secondly, once it’s on, it won’t open up anymore. So can’t easily dump the dust off, I need to remove the bin now which is super annoying and messy.
