KODAK MINI WAS AN AMAZING PRODUCT!
So GLAD to find this fabulous little printer! And the KODAK quality is unprecedented! This printer is fun and I take it everywhere! You will have fun making little memories. Make a garland of pics for your Christmas tree! Photos are of SUPERIOR QUALITY. And the price is affordable. A must have for everyone. UPDATE: The camera stopped working and Kodak was of no help in satisfying me. WILL NOT BE PURCHASED AGAIN.

Yes, some pictures can be dark, but it is still a good product
We got this for our kids to make a scrapbook while on vacation. It works well and is easy to use. Yes, some pictures can come out a little dark, but if you just edit/lighten them a little before printing, they look great. Plus, if you get extra cartridges for the Kodak Mini 2, the pictures print on photo paper with a sticky back, making it easy to put in a scrapbook without the need for glue. It connects easily to your phone through the app, and the pictures print quickly. The charging cable is a micro USB to USB, making it easy to connect to other devices/adapters for charging.

Compared 3 printers
I bought 3 different pic printers to compare. The Kodak mini 2, poloroid mint and poloroid zip. Printed the same picture without adjusting it. Poloroid Mint has the worst picture by miles compared to the other two. Very dark and grainy. It was horrible. The app also froze the first three times I tried to print, so I had to take the blue alignment paper out otherwise it wouldn't work, unlike the other poloroid printer. The Kodak mini 2 has superior quality, and the poloroid zip comes in second. Zip is darker and more grainy. The kodak mini 2 has the brightest most correct color matching and you can make out details. Best picture. Returning the other two. Only giving poloroid mint two stars because I got it to print. Thats it. Returned other and kept kodak. Looks the closest to a normal printed photo then the other which are grainy. Also pretty cool watching it print in layers of color! The pics are slightly larger than the other two, but that's ok. Happy with my purchase.

My mom loves it!
Bought this for my mom for Christmas. She loves it! She has several small picture frames and hangars and this is perfect for printing the photos to go in those frames. The unit is small and ultra portable, easy to connect to an iPhone, the app used for printing (required) is pretty straight-forward. Instructions say to CHARGE PRIOR TO FIRST USE--charging seems to be pretty quick. FYI: The unit is a 4 pass printer! When you print a photo, it puts the ink on in layers--the photo comes out with one layer, goes back in, gets another layer, and so on. Finishes up with a really nice glossy clear coat. That was weird for us the first time we used the printer--I had never seen a printer like that before. LoL!

Eventually broke....
Barely used over a couple of years. Printed fine until one day it told me to replace the cartridge. I was fine with this because it had been over a year since I had used it and assume it had probably dried out. Unfortunately, the cartridge would not come out without pulling with considerable force. This ripped whatever plastic was on the spool. Not a big deal since I was disposing of the cartridge I thought. Whatever had prevented the cartridge from coming out easily was still there because I couldn't load a new cartridge without pushing in really hard. I got the same error this time and the cartridge won't come out without tearing. I took it apart and it looks like a roller is causing the clearance issue. I assume it's stuck in some position. Using the reset button does nothing. Headed to the trash! Avoid! Sometimes it's cool to print photos at home, but 4x6s are so much cheaper at Walgreens.

Works as expected, nice to have
This is great for taking on the go when you want to share a fun moment with someone, easily print it out! The app Kodak uses is a bit antiquated, and it takes about a minute to print a photo fully, but then again I wouldn't expect a handheld printer to go any faster. I wish the photo quality matched that of the image on the phone. The quality of the photos isn't bad, but not 10/10 either. Worth it? Maybe. Depends on if you're the kind of person that likes to have/hold an actual photo... I am, and I enjoy this product a lot.

Can't charge, lights flashing red/green, faulty cable
Just got this product and almost returned it because it wouldn't turn on. Following the instructions in the User Guide, I plugged it in to charge with the charging cable that it came with in the box. The charging light turned red, so I thought, all is well. Left it to charge. When I came back, the charging light was flashing red-green constantly. I unplugged it and tried turning it on, it wouldn't turn on. I made sure my adapter was following regular 5V-1A. I tried resetting it with a pin, checked the paper cartridge if something was jammed/wrong, nothing. Plugged to my computer and left it again to charge again for a few more hours, tried again, can't turn on. Reset second time, left to charge more again on another wall socket, still wouldn't turn on. The instruction manual warns in BOLD to only use the genuine cable provided, so that was what I did and scared to try anything else. Was so sad because I was really looking forward to this printer so much, but I thought, just tried one more time before I return it. So I tried charging using another micro-USB cable that I have around (genuine cable from my Kindle). And... IT WORKS. After a while, it CAN turn on. So I think the official cable it came with from Kodak wasn't fitted properly (it just won't plug in nicely like my Kindle cable did) and/or was faulty. I expected very high quality from Kodak, this really disappoints me. So if you got RED-GREEN flashing lights while charging Kodak MIni 2 and it wouldn't turn on, might worth a shot to try using other genuine cables that you have around. Just tried printing now, app works fine and connection via NFC was fast. You can't expect amazing/professional printing studio quality, but it's quite ok and I like it enough for something instant & super portable. Size of the photo is credit card size, which I really like. The printer is quite lightweight to carry around as well.

Great product, my 14 year old daughter found it really easy to set up and use, just requires an app and some charging then it’s good to go. Pics look great! Tiny little pics but that’s what we were expecting

This printer is great! The app is easy to use and has some fun stickers and effects. Printing is a little slow (about 20-30 seconds per photo) but it's really cool to see each layer of ink added. Only takes about 1 1/2 hours to charge fully. The print quality is really good for a tiny portable printer, it's not crystal clear or anything but if the original photo is clear there's no problem with print resolution. Colours are just a little faded, but you could fix the saturations before printing if you needed. Overall would definitely recommend!!
